please react to twenty one pilots MTV unplugged... you will love it... but before that, I would say you should look up the setlist of that video and listen to the original songs in them before you watch the unplugged video because Tyler re-imagines those songs live on stage with loops and samples and even uses audience noises in them.

I love how you noticed Josh going open handed. He does that A LOT. In the live performances of 'Stressed Out' he usually keeps time of the whole song with the left hand. Also during the Live performance of 'Car Radio' Tyler climbs on a high plataform on top of the crowd. It's so much fun. Great reaction!

This session recording is such a different vibe from the music video and their full concert performance of this song, but you’re right, they bring so much emotion and passion in that room. In concerts, Tyler usually goes out into the crowd for the final part of Car Radio. Yes, piano was Tyler’s first instrument and a lot of the songs he writes start at the piano. It’s fun watching Josh tearing into those drums like crazy! He’s a beast. The two of them together is something special. This song has a lot of deep meaning and emotion for Tyler. Even though that boy is the king of metaphors 😹 his car radio was actually stolen when he was in college. It forced him to deal with his dark thoughts. And being trapped in the silence was a dangerous place for him to be.l at that time. The lyric “I could pull the steering wheel” alludes to suicidal thoughts. But as you noted, it’s paired with a beat and vibe that is very uplifting. I’m really enjoying this TØP journey with you! Your reaction of the TOPxMM session with MUTEMATH was a lot of fun to watch. The combined talent in that room and way they integrated their sounds was amazing. You would think they had been playing together for years.
