To briefly summarize how this too perfect to be true of a ship became a reality: -Heechul is an otaku and koreaboo, therefor Sana's (on a radio show back in early 2016 Heechul mentioned Sana to be an early fav of his when asked about rookies TWICE) and Momo's very anime like appearances, voices, and mannerisms as well as being girl group members are the ultimate combo fitting for an OtaKoreaboo's taste. -Heechul finally meets TWICE as a whole in the episode shown in Momo's cute clip above along with Got7, Gfriend, and BTOB -Momo's presence face to face put a spell on Heechul with "Nico Nico Ni" (a famous line by a Love Live! character who's an idol which Momo mimicked) being the final nail in the coffin making her his obvious favorite idol crush. -You'll see more interactions between the two with their colleagues shipping them and responding well/jokingly ill-fully to their sweet and funny interactions, as you watch Weekly Idol -> Knowing Bros in order where Heechul was hosting while TWICE guested throughout the years. -Speculations before the dating reveal (2016-2019) were 50/50 where one half believed Heechul is just being flirty as usual, brushing off Heechul and Momo's very close interactions over the years as just idol friends messing with their fans knowing they're being shipped by the whole kpop community, especially Heechul's IG post where him and Momo were taking couple like selfies plus an ig story where briefly towards, along with many others who think Heechul is too old for Momo to begin with and saw them more as siblings.. With the other half getting a feeling that there's more to it between the two which was actually the case -They only became official fresh off new year's this year(2020) so every interactions you see on compilations as of today has no literal meaning when it comes to their actual relationship if you get what I mean, as they weren't "official" yet. They still have yet to interact or publicly show off their relationship on TV shows or on social media ever since the dating confirmation (besides the times Heechul has been trolled this year on awards/tv shows and such by his colleagues getting teased about his relationship with Momo lol)

This is why I'm glad you're watching TWICE's content in relative order, although compilations like these will have question a bunch of stuff or spoil moments for you, no worries, just keep watching the stuff (Sixteen, Variety Shows, Elegant Private Life, Weekly Idol, Knowing Bros, TWICE TV) in order and you'll eventually get most, if not all the inside jokes or context. What you saw is in fact Heechul and Momo's first time meeting each other in person face to face during Cheer Up era, their first comeback, fresh from their debut era Like Ooh Ahh just months prior. They were barely 7 months old as a group and TWICE was only beginning to become a house hold name with their National hit in Korea Cheer Up, along with national TV show appearances where the general public are finally getting exposed to all members' charming personalities, just before their international breakout comeback in TT. So there were many new fans in that era (mid 2016) that were beginning to get hooked to TWICE, wanting to learn more about them, so do many other idols such as veteran/legend idol Heechul himself, that began falling hard for them, as TWICE's popularity began to skyrocket. Heechul at that time was already past his idol singing/dancing prime after years of being a part of the legendary Kpop boygroup Super Junior, and shifting focus to his new career as a solo entertainer, as one of the most well known TV personalities in Asia. Over the years, he's become known as the super nice, gentleman like, very open minded, overly flamboyant, quite eccentric, rumored to be bisexual, no filter jokester, anime otaku, and biggest fanboy of girlgroups as far as idols go. Thanks to his attributes and very outgoing personality, he makes friends and gets flirty with just about anybody. But any fan of Heechul's, specifically ELFs(SuperJunior fandom), can tell when he's truly interested in someone. And after paying close attention to his decade and a half career as a celeb, he has only been truly interested in 3 girls with Momo being the one.

at 6:18 they're not officially dating at this point but it's a widely known joke that Heechul had a HUGE crush on Momo over all other girl idols (he's a member of Super Junior and hosts of a lot of shows so he meets a bunch of beautiful women but would end up always talking about Momo it was cute).
