「Fake」の面である自分の殻を突き破り、「Ture」の面である、ありのままの自分で諦めずに進もういう内容の歌詞と殻をつきやぶる振り付けや、メンバーそれぞれのシーンに隠れている「Fake」と「Ture」のコンセプトも見どころなミュージックビデオとなっている。
収録曲の「How u doin'」（ハウ ユー ドゥーイン）ではメンバーのチェヨンが作詞作曲に参加！
日本の作品として初めてメンバーが作詞に参加、TWICEとしては初めて作曲にメンバーが参加する作品となる。
リード曲に「Fake & True」（フェイク アンド トゥルー）、7月にリリースした4th SINGLE「HAPPY HAPPY」、5th SINGLE「Breakthrough」の他、全10曲を収録。
『&TWICE』は、「＆」の前を空白にし、無限の可能性とコラボできるという意味と、この作品に出会ってくれた、世界中のすべての人にも自分との無限の可能性があることを伝え続けていきたいという意味を込めた。さらに「～とTWICE」という意味の中で「いつもTWICEと一緒」という想いも込め、すべての「ONCE」（TWICEのファンの総称）に向けたメッセージも込められている。
