It's the President of South Korea who titled SNSD as the Nation's Girl Group while Twice was titled as the Nation's Girl Group by Mnet. SNSD will always and forever be Legendary and Nation's Kpop Girl Group and no one can beat them, until now SNSD has the most awards even though they are in hiatus for how many years. SNSD is the only Girl Group who can beat Boy Group.Twice is hardworking and talented Girl Group too but I think its better to give their own title not the title who's belong to SNSD. For example Nation's Favorite or Nation's Pick.

Idk, these cases of receiving a title the public always uses it at their convenience, just look at Lee Hyori and BoA, Hyori was first declared "The Queen of Kpop" but currently the title is held by BoA and nobody complains, why not do the same with Twice? if like BoA they already surpassed their predecessor, and besides it wasn't even mnet, it was the Korean public who declared them that because in their own words they said they didn't like a group so much since SNSD.

To be honest... I think this video just makes more harm than good. First of all, I'm a SONE since 2007, yes since their debut and still going on until now, 10 years later. Second, I'm not a fan of TWICE, but not because of hate, but simply because I don't really like their songs. But not saying their songs are bad, not at all, just not my taste that's all. It's just the matter of personal taste when it comes to music. And for me the songs are the first thing that can make me like a group, eventhough they are pretty as hell, very funny, and has great personality, which I think TWICE are all of those. Now, with that said, I find that this video will only invoke even more fan wars and just damage the SNSD's name itself. Nothing is forever, especially popularity. It will come and go. It's just natural that a new generation will come and be more popular than the previous one, it will happen to TWICE too someday. So what? If SNSD is not being active anymore, the music scene will just stop and no more Kpop? No. It will keep on going with the new ones, just like what happened now. I mean, if we SONE proud of SNSD, the group that we consider legend, why would we pick on a new group? Why would we stressed over the influence of a new group? It's kinda pathetic in my opinion. And if someone hate TWICE because of the ONCE's immaturity, then what's the difference between us and them? Like I've said before, I've already became a SONE for 10 years now, and I've been through many fanwars. I've seen our SNSD being attacked by many fandoms (the Black Ocean is the most famous), but the thing is the only thing we should care about the artist is for the music itself. That's why no matter what happened that time, I can still like 2NE1, Wonder Girls, Apink, and many others, even if some of their fans (focus on the "SOME") really bashed SNSD, because I don't care about them. Liking the music is enough for me to like them. Now, for NGG title. I can understand being obsessed by it when SNSD is still a new player in the scene. It must have been a proud moment. But, personally I don't think it's the kind of title that should be stick to one group only. Hell, it's not like it's even an official title like President or something. And it will change with time, depends of the overall popularity at the time, which like I said is not forever. And now, after 10 years, I don't think it's something we should be focus on anymore. I mean, c'mon, if people are being honest, is there anyone who can doubt SNSD's achievement now? And you know... All those comments bashing SNSD, we should really take it as a compliment you know. That means SNSD is still big enough and influencing enough to be the comparison and the target to be surpassed. They're not stressing over new groups, they're stressing over SNSD, a 10 years old group. That shows how SNSD is still matters. Lastly, I will say this as a SONE and non-fans on TWICE. You can't deny the influence and popularity of TWICE right now. You can't deny they are currently, maybe, the biggest girlgroup out there. Looking at their achievement, with the MV views, awards, daesang, etc, it's very amazing. I will say (debatable) that they even achieve more than SNSD in the same time frame(?) And you have to accept and respect that. But, you don't have to feel like being threatened by it.

But I'm very worried, I fear that snsd are going to end up like other girl groups from the 2nd generation, Koreans didn't really pay attention to them when they were nearing the end of their career. To be honest, Twice doesn't deserve the title, I've never seen a group on top with their level of talent to be honest, I'm going to be real here.. Twice are untalented. what are Sana, Dahyun, Tzuyu, Mina talented in? Those members' skills are veeery weak. Chaeyoung's rap is decent and this is what makes her better than those that I've mentioned. Naeyeon is an okay singer, Jihyo is also alright, Jungyoen is the best singer. Momo is a great dancer but a very bad singer. To be honest they should be veery thankful for their company and for the people who make their songs, without them they would be no where with those skills. Snsd started from zero and they worked hard to reach the top, they worked really really hard and they deserve everything they got because every member is talented and worked hard for it. Also, snsd Is loved by whole Asia, Twice aren't going to replace them that easily. And.. Twice will never be loved by China because of tzuyu's scandal, China don't like Twice. Nirisa Stha I love Tzuyu and Sana.. They're very lovely. but to be honest.. Sana voice isn't meant for singing. All she does is aegyo and she can't sing live at all.. her dancing is decent, it's suitable for Twice's choreography. As for Tzuyu she's the same as Sana but her voice is a little bit better. What do you mean I have not figured out yet? I've followed Twice since Sixteen, and watched all their performances. The public voted for Tzuyu and people said she was too pretty not to debut.. and JYP put her in Twice. I think you what this means. They were chosen because of their look. First of all I am both Sone and Once. I got into kpop because of SNSD. There are Sones claiming that Onces had a mass project of reporting SNSD's video, WHICH IS NOT TRUE! Not all Onces are immature like you are guys are claiming. it is saddening to see that Sones and Onces can't get along well while they are obviously treating each other nicely and Twice has a HUGE respect for SNSD. And for the record it's Korean citizens who gave the title of NGG to Twice. Why does the international fans are getting salty with it? it's their country, it's their title that they gave then and not ours from abroad. let's be open minded everyone. We are not saying that Twice surpasses SNSD's achievement. it also came from them that they need to prove themselves. you guys are focusing too much on the title. 4 years later after their debut: TWICE exceeded more than SNSD's achievements (some). Daesangs and album sales + (views). Intl fanbase and more hit songs. And a lot more. Even the "hate and criticisms". Is it still too early for them to receive this title? Do u think any girl group this generation could surpass them this early? Twice is the current NGG but *Once should know it doesn't mean Twice became THE ONLY representive kpop girlgroup of Korea*. Even Koreans will not agree to this THE ONLY. It means Twice became *one of the girlgroups representing Korea*. I think some kpop fans have the tendency to think first that NGG means 'representative girlgroup of Korea' but it's wrong. Again, the title NGG is mainly working only in Korea. Once should be careful with this 'representative thing'. Twice is still young.) 3. What achievement is most needed for a girlgroup to be a NGG? : The girlgroup should be loved by Koreans irrespective of age and gender *through at least 3 consecutive hit songs that caught Korean people's hearts*. First of all, I've seen many onces who support and respect other groups including myself so please don't keep on focusing on thrices (they're fake fans who bash our girls and at the same time doing things that ruin our girls image like bashing other groups using 'once' fandom). I'm also very grateful to Snsd for they're one of the legends that had given Doors to new girl group generation these days worldwide. I Love Kpop i think it's because Twice has still so much to improve especially on their performances, they are talented but their live performances are just meh :/ that's why some fans would say things like "Red Velvet, Gfriend, Blackpink and etc should be the next NGG instead of Twice" because giving them the title is a little too soon for that, when you think of bringing the title NGG it should do some justice to it's name. Oh do NOT start that bullshit all over again. I'm both Wonderful and SOne. So pay attention and shut the fuck up. WG had during the first two years of both groups. They out sang and out danced SNSD on pretty much a regular basis (SOne shut, up. I'm getting to it). Then JYP fucked up and sent them to America. And yes, that was a mistake. While they were gone, SNSD made a quantum leap in their abilities. Their signing got stronger, their harmonies got tighter, their dancing got better, and they got a huge break (that abomination of a song called "Gee". I still hate it) WG left. SNSD did not AND they got a LOT better while the WG were gone. WG were the NGG. They left. SNSD became NGG and has been ever since. Now, you're gonna say that SNSD left as well. Not really. They were touring East Asia, promoting their music AND Korea. And the fans knew that. The WG went to America and... toured with the Jonas Brothers? Really? I mean... REALLY? So stfu and don't even think about starting that shit up again unless you feel like becoming my hobby.
