personally, i interpret the song in a really sad way. the mv shows the girls in different scenes reenacting movies such as: romeo and juliet, love letter, la la land, etc to show that love has different endings depending on the person, and isn’t always happy. twice members are shown as innocent girls who don’t know what love is and are learning that it can be anything but happy
