I was doing a powerpack run and I was at 1-4 and I’d blown the entrance to the ghist shop open. Powerpack makes your bomb have a bigger radius, so I think it broke one of the presents inside, angering the ghist shopkeeper, who then spawned outside on top of me, killing me instantly.

Maybe like a power pack or maybe just a bag of bombs, who knows. Either way it was close enough to instantly kill him through the layer.
