When did you get into Twilight? Recently? When it first came out?

In 2008 I saw the trailers and commercials for it and didn't know what it was. A year later I went with my cousin to go see the 2nd movie " New Moon" and I've loved it ever since. I saw the New Moon before I saw Twilight & didn't buy all of the books until 2018.

People give Twilight a hard time nowadays, (and it has it’s issues) but at the time it was supposed to be a little indie movie about a teen girl who falls in love with a vampire. Nobody expected on what it turned into to. The actors themselves have said they did not know what they signed up for. I also agree that everybody played with what they were given.

Loved seeing your reaction to this! I’ll never forget when I first saw it in theater as the part where the other vampires crash their baseball game, the power went out. Luckily the power came back a few minutes later but the timing couldn’t have been more spot on as everyone was literally left in suspense on what was going to happen next haha.

Great reaction! Bella is supposed to be awkward…Kristen Stewart played it well. She championed this movie with the director. I saw the movie 1st and didn’t know it was about vampires. Then heard there was a book and read it right away then more books read them over & over 7 times. It’s a great love story and I will always have love for it.

I’ve watched all the twilight movies many times and read the books, I just rewatched all of them this past week! Some parts in my opinion are kinda cringy but they’re pretty good movies! Twilight is like Mormon hetero Anne Rice fanfic 😬 Edward is just teen Lestat - reads minds, only kills villains, obsessive Each vamp having their own 'dark gift' is another Anne Rice idea, as is the vampire skin turning to stone (it just takes them a really long time). The idea to make them sparkly ends up being the part I have the least trouble with due to the stone skin explanation 😅
