The difficulty is that Luna rules over the night of everyone’s dreams and a LOT of the world still operates during the day. Weddings, ceremonies, threats against Equestria, everything happens during the day. Luna has to tend to ponies dreams so they don’t turn into psychopaths and get scared for life. They will need someone to rule the day. Unless all of equestria goes without dreams or changes life to night time.

Okay I like this story's version of the beginning of season 9's premiere episode, a lot better then the version in the show. Discord in charge of Equestria again? Yeah like that's going to ever happen. Wow Princess Celestia was stunted, although I think she should've chosen better. Wow, Twilight has so many good points about why she shouldn't rule Equestria but Flurry Heart when she grows up could be a good option. Also where did those two go after they finally gave Twilight the castle, we didn't even see them in that future episode that ended the series.
