This band is seriously the best power metal since ZP-era Dragon Force. They've completely picked up the baton after DF abandoned traditional symphonic power metal in favor of hammy self-aware prog metal. There is an eagerness and driving enchantment running through this band's music. It feels like they're making some of this stuff in the late 90's or early 2000's when the scene was blossoming into full maturity. This is far and away the most exciting power metal band on the scene right now.

Tengo entendido que a mucha gente no le gusta cómo ha ido evolucionando el power metal. A mi parecer es algo muy bueno en el power metal sinfónico, pero a mucha gente no les gusta las parafernalias que usan, se convierte en música pomposa. Esta banda es muy buena, sus músicos son impresionantes, y la parte orquestales brillantes y magnificas, PERO! son demacrada felices las canciones, esta bien una o dos pero todo el disco es así, y eso en música se llama monotonía, porque no hay variedad, es como escuchar un puto musical de navidad gringo, y la forma (estructura) de las canciones tienen el mismo molde pre establecido, Rhapsody esta niveles mucho mas allá de esto, repito Twilight Force podría ser una increíble banda, por su calidad de músicos, pero se nota que están haciendo un producto vendible, como comida rápida, fácil de digerir

Cuando escuché el primer disco lo asocié a una buena imitación de Rhapsody, ahora escucho este nuevo material y pienso en la banda sonora de algún video juego. A lo mejor es demasiado obvio lo que escribo, porque quizás la banda decidió darle ese nuevo estilo a su música, lo que no está mal, ya que funciona, pero mi comentario nace de la contradicción que me produce el notar que cosas buenas del disco anterior se perdieron en este. Fall of the Eternal Winter o Twilight Horizon, superan fácilmente a la mayoría de los temas expuestos acá, lo cual no quiere decir que sea para mí un mal disco. Instrumentales y vocalizaciones asombrosas, junto con una interpretación pocas veces escuchada. Si tuviera que definir este disco en una palabra sería: Entretenido, quizás demasiado feliz para mis gustos más clásicos.

No es mal album pero tampoco es el mejor ni tan destacado del estilo. Por qué dices que es de Luca Turilli? Alessandro Conti fue el único italiano detrás de esta banda sueca. Insania me gusta más. Hay más bandas desde entonces que han hecho un trabajo similar con mejores resultados como lo hizo en su momento la disuelta banda Wisdom de Hungría o la otra banda ya disuelta ReinXeed. Lo que se agradece es que realmente hay sonidos bien sampleados de orquesta y no un simple teclado emulando. Igual extraño la gran voz de Olaf Hayer. Me faltó esa canción que me hacía querer salir con armadura a matar dragones como Black dragon en King of the Nordic Twilight o Reach out for the light de Avantasia, por dar dos ejemplos. Oye tú creador de este perfil, ya caché ya que eres chileno. Si estás vivo imagino que conoces a Abstract Symphony, great chilean band. Aunque jamás nada podrá igualar el album de six magics Dead Kings Of The Unholy Valley y a Pankeke en la voz!

Im Grunde müsste man für Twilight Force und anderen vergleichbaren Bands ein eigenes Genre erfinden. Adventure oder Story Tale Metal würde da ein sehr treffender Begriff sein. Einfach Grandios der Mix aus Power und Epicmetal verbunden mit den Storys die deren Alben erzählen. ^^

Oh a lot - I like to mix power Metal with really fast metal and symphonic, Also I am a huge LP fan so Linkin Park as well. Bands that I am currently listening to while gaming: Metallica, Epica, Orden Ogan, Bloodbound, Edenbridge, Fleshgod Apocalypse, Amaranthe, Arch Enemy, Nightwish, Amberian Dawn, Stahlmann, Warbringer, HammerFall, Kreator, Iron Maiden are just to name a few. Currently I am playing World of Warships, so some slower tracks are also very good - like Tarja's solo music as it forces you to slow down a bit and not get surrounded by enemies.

Ah cool, I listen to most of those bands also! My MMO list usually consists of Opeth, Belakor, Septic Flesh, Ensiferum, Sabaton, Wintersun, Gloryhammer, and quite a few others that you already listed. Anything Dungeon Synth usually works for slower pace and Carpenter Brut and Dance with the Dead for when I take a small break from all that metal.

Yeah, this is a really good power metal album! The genre as a whole suffers from a pretty serious lack of creativity and cookie cutter sound, but this album is really unique, packed with intense choruses and arrangements, and is damn near flawless.
