What is up all you Pokémon maniacs out there! PikiPikaPapa is back taking a look at Twilight Masquerade and asking the question....Is Twilight Masquerade an EPIC New Set Or Big Disappointment?! This should come as no surprise but I do a ton of research and deep dives into Pokémon products before I do my videos and this view of Twilight Masquerade is no different! We have done a ton of content into Sword & Shield Booster Boxes and sets over the last couple months so comparing Twilight Masquerade to a similar Sword & Shield set only makes sense. For the long term the price on this set will be so cheap the money i make will be more than buying now all your high price stuff (beside 151 and crown zenith i still dca little bit into those every week)

If i would only have 5k to invest then i dont think i would chose twighlight. But if we talk serious investments then every set thats underappreciated and cheap is a good pickup

I did!! I always buy a couple cases even if it isn’t my favorite set. They sell out so fast I think they will have a lot of long term potential even for less popular sets. Paldea Evolved is my choice for regular set and 151 + Paldean Fates are both solid in my opinion. Believe it or not I think Obsidian Flames with its atrocious Gem Rate could be a long term sleeper as well!!

@@PikaPikaPapa Yeah I was thinking obsidian flames might go somewhere eventually, I mean it's got three big charizards and that used to be the main guy, even though everyone hates him now because he's so overdone. Definitely agree about padlea evolved and paldean fates, I also think temporal forces is pretty good but idk it's mainly a good set if you like trainer arts like I do :3

I hope someone enjoys it. I have no desire to rip this set.

Chilling Reign 233 cards (65 trainers 168pokemon cards) Twilight (226 cards (41trainers 185 pokemon cards) I wonder if the size of the expansions has reached it’s inelastic zenith? Corporations need growth and PI has looked to China for example and now Pokemon Centres are expanding. 1025 Pokedex but firm favourites remain from gen 1. This I believe is a mistake showing a lack of understanding in creating star quality. Just my opinion.

I’m aligned that they need more bang. Short term margin at the expense of long term consumer engagement is never a recipe for success. How long can Charizard and Pikachu carry the franchise? I don’t know the answer to that and it might be forever but I’d love to see some new challengers!!

i think the # of illustration rares matter and only there being 21 prob means it wont do as well as palaea evolved which has like 32 illustration rares
