It’s my favorite Zelda game. Controversial opinion: I played the Wii version because the GameCube version is expensive and I don’t like the HD version because it took out a lot of things I like about the original version.

Disagree about the overworld being empty. You can collect bugs, go in hidden grottos and caves and defeat enemies, play mini games, collect heart pieces, etc. It’s not as empty as Ocarina of Time and Wind Waker’s overworld. Also I didn’t really find the Wolf Link segments that bad. Except for the third one. There are also many hidden pathways you could find in the overworld. I understand if people don’t like this game.
