You really have this Cheetah dialed in especially with the mods you have done and the cap packs look great as well as perform . As far as the servo , i put some double face tape on the back side of the servo in addition to the tie strap or wire in your case to keep it stable although i use a Du bro servo arm , stronger then the ones that come with the servo and plastic acts as a servo saver .

I'm glad to hear about the cap packs. I just got the same ones for my 180.seaking. now I just have to run it. I would put the batteries in the sponsens. You can adjust the cg and lower center of gravity. I'm a big ironclad fan but I've noticed your comments and decided to check you out and I just subscribed. Thanks

They have battery straps that are rubberized so your batteries won't slip about. Luminiere makes them. There actually for fpv drones. They work great 👍 👌

I love how dialed in this boat is. My zonda is giving me hell. This past Sunday the servo decided it wanted to spend 360° around breaking the zip tie and removing itself from the electronics tray with absolutely zero input from the radio. Then both escs refused to read any of my batteries

one more comment ;) that tapered rudder has 2 different size water passages. the front hole is smaller ID. that might explain your temp differential from left to right. also, you have it cut pretty short. i use a straight blade shortened only a little bit on my Cheetah. i tested all the different length rudder mounts and different shape and length rudder blades. i currently use the shortest rudder mount. it helps keep the rudder away from prop wash. your short blade is also more susceptible to prop wash, especially now that you have the props turning inward. (my props turn outward.)

Funny, I also have a fine and coarse thread cable on my Genesis 900 and the coarse thread side has desoldered the wires twice now, the second time after installing larger Bullets. That’s some nice speed on 4s.

Let me put it this way. If it were my boat i definitely wouldnt build an air dam or something like that. I would order adjustable lipo rail and put these in the sponsons. That way you have a lower cg and it shifts but more forward since these weigh probably few hundred grams. If that is to much i probably would partially or completely remove the factory elektronics tray/plate which is probably also like a 100gr. Also would glue or bold another servo mount in it. Its hard to tell of course if you don't have the boat yourself but, if i was 100% sure it needed more weight in the nose that is what i would do. The caps your using look to be the same size i used on the t180 (previous setup dom)...
