Super interesting video this week. I especially appreciated that you noticed the Chobani factory. Their history is fascinating. Hamdi Ulukaya Started the company in 2005 and totally disrupted the yogurt industry. He started in New York by getting a loan and buying an old yogurt plant. By 2012 he built the business big enough that they needed to expand onto the West Coast so they had built an opened the Twin Falls plant that you saw. One of the biggest reasons they built there was because of the strong dairy industry in that area. they went to where the cows were the cows didn’t come to them:) Certainly a rags to riches story and Hamdi is a tremendous individual, not just a good businessman. Thanx and keep up the good work.
@bigtruckbigtravels4 ай бұрын
Very interesting. That's why they are headquartered out of NY... ok. Makes sense. Thank you!
@steveddavis4 ай бұрын
Also Chobani, because of Hamdi’s leadership, is one of the best employee centric companies in the U.S. Hamdi also gave 10% of the company to employees in 2016.

I notice no-one has mentioned the Shoshone - Bannock tribes (or Newe) as they called themselves in reference to the Snake River. This was their ancestral homeland. And you can see why a people would have wanted to settle in such a beautiful and bountiful landscape. Of course they were moved off their land, treaties broken etc etc. Wonderful scenery, a joy to see, but the dark side of American history is also always there. A strange juxtaposition.

As an outdoor enthusiast who loves to grill, I've recently made a switch from Traeger to Asmoke, and the difference is incredible. Asmoke's pellet grill has been a game-changer for my camping trips. The convenience of the digital controller allowing precise temperature control is a huge step up from Traeger. Plus, the fact that it's battery-powered and portable is perfect for my RV travels. I've been able to achieve specific flavors using different wood pellets, which has truly elevated my grilling game. Not to mention, the Asmoke Essential app which allows remote temperature adjustment and food temperature monitoring is a huge plus. The combination of convenience, flavor, and technology makes Asmoke the superior choice for any grilling enthusiast. I'm so glad I've made the switch. #Asmoke.

We had stopped there last September, when we shared our picture of the Knievel ramp with our private family chat, we added to our kids and family members under 40 to google him. LOL Great video, safe travels.

Well it wouldn't be a trip to Snake River without seeing a real snake, right? What kind was it? It was very lonngg! Glad you didn't step on it but it was moving thankfully. Beautiful place and I didn't see one potato lol. Would have never known you were in Idaho. Thumbs up always!
