Well I have seen her live in the US (Im from there) twice, and this iz REAL. Noone does more Live singing than this young lady! Videos like this (produced) since shes been in lockdown are rare. Morissette actually goes live 4 times a week for a couple hours on a Fillipino App called KUMU. She takes requests, chats about her happenings, stories from her past, but her live raw voice is a freakin wonder. I"ve been a fan for over 3 years now. This young phenom is WORTH people getting aboard her train and investing in! Shes 23 (will be 24 June 2nd) and has been at this for 10 years. She has some breathtaking performances out there ,two with over 100 million views each many others in the 20 plus million range. There is a reaon for this, because she just has it! The great theatre and Disney Legend Lea Salonga said of her "shes so talented its ridiculous " I could go on and on all you need to know is that you definitely made a good decision to bring her to your channel! If you listen carefully, you'll hear long sections of this song are done in one take. Also, you can hear her breath management during these long sections. Each inhalation is surgical in it's preciseness. Just enough that's required to go after each note. Not more, not less. Just enough. Her musicality and sense of rhythm is off the charts. She never delays her notes to breathe. She is not only a role model for singers, she's a role model for all people. Morissette is what we all should strive to be, as a global society. I just subbed cuz of Morissette. Thanks for your wonderful reaction guys. So, allow me to give you an introduction to Morissette and her singing career. First off, she lives in the Philippines and is currently a TV mainstay of a very popular weekend show. But because of the pandemic, she stays at home where she recorded this song. She, along with other excellent Filipino singers (both males and females) entertain the audience live at one of the studios at the TV station. Morissette is a brave singer in the sense that she goes to a (musical) territory that other singers wouldn't dare. She is one of the most versatile singers in the world today; she can sing any musical genre with ease and aplomb! Besides the intentional vocal breaks (squeaks to some) and growls you hear, she also is able to do whistle notes and her whistles are out of this world. (Mariah Carey is her musical influence and inspiration.) She is probably one of the very few who can whistle while her mouth is closed! Her musical landscape ranges and includes rock/soul/motown/R&B/pop/ballad/Disney/Broadway/worship or gospel/country/rap/jazz.
