I've heard of this town. It has to do with the trees. When the town was first settled, people were cutting the trees down to build their homes. A tribe shaman put a curse on the town if they continued to cut down trees. There was a massive accident that nearly ruined the town. Then they built their homes around trees. They even had to have lumber shipped from other places to continue building.
