Today we visit North Bend and Snoqualmie, Washington to see all of the glorious filming locations of the coolest, weirdest TV show ever, Twin Peaks. Locations include the Double R Diner (Twede's Cafe), Ronette's Bridge, the Twin Peaks sign location, Twin Peaks log from the opening credits, Twin Peaks High School, Twin Peaks Sheriff Station, and Snoqualmie Falls/Salish Lodge, used as the exterior shots of the Great Northern Lodge, where Dale Cooper was staying. I live in Seattle and I love coming to Snoqualmie Falls. We always bring out-of-towners here. Water flows varies between seasons and is always fun to watch. I know this video is more than 5 years ago, I am not sure if anyone already addressed the parking issue. There is a parking garage on the other side of the hotel (across the street). You can just wait and people don't really stay long so just be a little patience and you can find cars leaving.

What a fabulous video! I had no idea that they filmed inside the sheriffs station as well as outside. So cool to see Lucy's desk is there!! Can't wait to go there when I next visit the USA! :)

Cool additional nerdiness at 11:19 Tom Hammond's Sport Quattro Road Car with UK Number Plates, as far as i'm aware 1 of only 15 that were in the Malachite Green and double cool that it on display in the ex Sheriff's station on Twin Peaks!! Awesome :)

When I went Ronnette's bridge was not cut in half. Saw the high school as well but didn't go in. I didn't think they wanted some adult roaming their school. Sherriff Truman and Andy would have been called after me. The Log was really cool. I loved the Lodge too and the falls. It was just the season premiere, the movie Fire Walk With Me, and some key scenes in the regular seasons 1 and 2 that were filmed up there. A lot was filmed here in Southern California. I recognize the roads in the Hollywood Hills in some scenes.

We've been back in the last year and the school was under major renovations. It won't look at all the same when they are done.

About the café you are right it did burn down at some point. I went up there with my wife in 2010 and visited many of the filming locations as I mentioned in another post and one of them was the Café. They rebuilt it but to some hokey exaggerated '50s café type of interior so we were disappointed that they didn't rebuild it to the way it was before like it was during the show's filming. I did hear though that they remodeled it to look like the original café in the show and your video confirms it! Maybe one day I'll go back up there and visit the café and check it out the way it's supposed to be. Thanks for posting the video.

10:39 I hope they don't have that truck sitting there when I come :-) Probably not, because I'll be there in the off season (first week of March). I've been mapping out the sites I want to visit and I think I might hit the Great Northern first, early in the morning maybe just after sunrise. Then Maybe I'll go out to the Deer Meadow Sheriff's dept...then work my way back towards the Double RR. Hopefully it works out so I can do the two busiest/most popular things really early in the day while there's no crowd. Maybe that time of year it won't be so crowded anyway. I hope :-)

The Magic Geekdom I sent a message to that rally school where the sheriff’s office is in the show and they said they are open daily 8 AM to 5 PM. I will try to be there when they’re open in the morning so I can get the indoor photos also :-). I think I will start with the great Northern and then go down towards the sheriffs office and after that make the loop going back up towards the café and around to the other less popular locations. I have a little under 20 locations I want to visit and I don’t think it will take that long other than driving around. Laura’s house is way over in Everett Washington and the location where Laura’s body was found is west of Seattle and that’s not super easy to get to Laura’s house is way over in Everett Washington and the location where Laura’s body was found is west of Seattle and that’s not super easy to get to either. I think I have all day so it should be pretty easy to see everything.

We have not been to Laura's house, but we did make it over to the Kiana Lodge - where Laura's body is found and also used for interior shots of the Great Northern. You will probably want to contact them ahead of time as they are only open for special events. When we went, we could want down to the beach from the neighboring property, but could only look through the windows to see in the interior. 😫
