I've been told by a customer their son dumped a bait bucket in the boat. Filled the TTX10 with about 1in. of water...fished the rest of the day...no big deal. If you leave the plug out, some water will get in. Not enough to sink the boat. No water ever gets inside the hull. Hull is solid. Motors are recessed in the hull. This TTX10 is truly a design masterpiece.

For those of you who knock the price, doubt the videos, and just want to be negative about the twin Troller. I say this everyone dose solid research on any investment, for a very small investment you will have a boat for life, I will never sell mine and I bought it this year in late February, I take it out all the time, no hassles and spend hours fishing not drifting, for those of you kayak owners enjoy the experience of paddling, I’ll watch you as I fish, I will bet the kayak will be sold soon or not used as I use mine. Very easy to service/replace motors and because the motors are protected, service is minimal. Battery gives you 3 hours with both motors on full. This easily translates to 6-8 hours on the water. I've had days where I spent 8 hours on the water and only used 1/2 the battery. This boat is nearly indestructible. I have a video hitting it with a hammer. Don't try that with a Pelican or Bass Hunter. If you get a chance to buy one, John, you won't regret it. Incredible fishing experience!

I love all the videos posted, I have looked at cheaper boats such as the pelican bass raider, but the Twin Troller seems to have many advantages over all others, I have just purchased the adventure package, and will give a real world view from the people who have doubts about this boat, and I plan on taking it out on large Texas lakes

Brandon P I’ve never seen a kayak that I can sit upright in a seat, swivel around, stand and cast easily. Have to half sit, half lay in a kayak which limits my fishing when my back starts to hurt. And you can’t tip theTT over!

@@onlinenetbuy8129 don't misunderstand...the TT is very cool! Would love to have one myself. But to say a kayak is terrible to fish out of is a very general statement. Most high position seats now have you sitting nearly upright. Nucanoe also offers a 360 seat on their kayaks. And any kayak above an entry level is plenty stable enough to stand on. I have floated for 7-8 hours in my Jackson and never even thought about my back hurting. And yes I have mild back issues.

@@nodnarb81 It's just not even the same, a new hobie cost more than this and is smaller and only 1 person, this boat can go forwards, backwards, and turn 360 just like any kayak but faster and with foot controls so you can fish while doing all of it, you can put a outboard on it and have 2 people onboard, you can make plenty of DIY mods to make the thing even better, it cannot be flipped or tipped and will not sink even if the hull is breached, the only problem is the 3500$ price tag. You can get a bass raider for 800$, put a trolling motor and outboard on it, DIY casting deck, fish finder, bait well and still be under well under 3500$, and have the same boat but with more space and better mods.

@bluejay148 The drain plug is just in case you need to drain the center section. Great for washing the boat as well. The center section does set in the water a bit though, so you wouldn't want to leave it out during operation. The boat would not sink if you forgot but you would get some water in there.

What are the two foot pedals for? Are the seats adjustable fore and aft? I like everything about it but the price. Some of the commenters below have named competitors with lower prices but it is hard to compare because of the inclusion of two trolling motors and the pedal controls. I would want a trailer, the battery recharger, the cover, and the depth/fish finder. How much would that be?

There is a portable dolly for this purpose. You don't want wheels permanently attached because they would be an anchor going through grass, lily pads, etc.

Built in wheels and fold down seats would make that little boat a killer. There is space for the wheels in the walls and the ability to take it down a beach and go, without worrying about the dolly or carry it in the back of a van without a trailer, would make it a killer.

Try fishing and trolling with a Gheenoe. Not possible. There is no other boat like the Twin Troller X10. It's not for everyone, especially those that prefer to go fast on the water over having ultimate control of their boat while fishing. The fishing experience in a Twin Troller X10 is second to none.

Nice boat but way too expensive! Definitely NOT affordable. Bass Hunter and Pelican make affordable boats. Things that concern me are: There are 2 electric motors inside the hull. How difficult of a job would it be if 1 had to be serviced or replaced? Another thing that concerns me is how long a fully charged battery would last powering 2 motors. I can fish all day with my fully charged battery, but I'm only powering 1 motor.

Cool design but $3300 for the solo model? That's $1000-$1500 more then a solo boat of that size should be. 5 years isn't exactly a long hull warranty either, for 3 grand the boat better last a lot longer then 5 years.

Well, there's 2 trolling motors recessed in the hull, pedals to control those motors, and a design no other boat on the market at any price has. Hands free, zero turn radius, 6-8 inch draft, the list goes on. What is that worth to you? $00? The new Hobie 360 kayak is $4700 and it can't do what a Twin Troller can do. We think it's quite the bargain for any serious small water adventure angler.

It has two inbuilt electric motors and I'd say it's going to also be heavy to counter the top heavy-ness of the boat - there is no way I would feel comfortable perched up there on those seats But yeah I know what you mean, if you can't put a boat that size on your roof racks then something is wrong. I have a 4m canoe that I can put on the roof of my small car no probs and this looks a lot smaller than that

Why do folks aways think that trailerig a small craft is harder? All you do is hook it up and boom. When you get home unhook. No liftig an sliding and bumping into your truck. With a trailer you dont even need a truck. I have a small lowes trailer i haul my mountain bikes on. I take the front wheel off and fork mount to tool box (which most people do in the back of a truck) except I only have to load and unload once. Plus I have a small toolbox i keep my gear and a couple of friends' if they come along too. I have everything i need in one small package that is a ball mount and coupler hook up away. Unless you keep your boat or bikes in the bed of your truck, this is much easier and faster!

+Paulpro PP The boat weighs 175 without battery. Many owners put them in the back of their truck but most trailer it. Is it bigger than a kayak? Yes, but it's a lot smaller than a 20ft. bass boat. People buy this boat because it's a very small, really, really, really good fishing boat. Some would say better than a $50k bass boat. If you need to put it on top of your car, buy a kayak, but your fishing experience will be very different in the kayak.
