I still smell a little bit of something burning from time to time, and the number of bushings that need replacing is too damn high, but fluid levels have stayed constant and compression is decent. I've only put 300ish miles on the new motor though so time will tell, but I'm hopeful. But thanks for asking! Im actually in the middle of salvaging her spoiler. Some guy in Tampa bought her car and he's putting it back to stock for whatever reason. Currently trying to fix the spoiler, it cracked on basically every corner and the paints coming off. The goal is to save It for my build and try to put the work in to fix it back up for road conditions. Really sad though, I loved this car and got to see it in person while trying to take the spoiler off the other day. Just sad this car is no longer as beautiful as it was over 5 years ago.

Turbochargers do NOT increase fuel efficiency! I'll say it again, "Turbochargers CANNOT increase fuel efficiency!" Turbo cars are typically more fuel efficient BECAUSE they use SMALLER DISPLACEMENT ENGINES! Slapping a turbo setup on an engine will NOT increase it's fuel economy, it only serves to INCREASE it's HORSEPOWER capability. Better fuel economy is gained through a few methods: smaller displacement engine (less rotating mass that wastes energy) and increasing an engine's volumetric efficiency (less restrictive intake and exhaust). To many ill informed comments on this video spreading the 'turbo for mpgs' myth. Stop it!

Violetta If you take an engine and put a turbocharger on it, you will not get better gas mileage. You will increase your fuel consumption. The reason? A turbo forces more air into the engine. Engines make power with air and fuel, together. When you put more air through the engine, you also need more fuel. There is no way around that. The advantage in fuel efficiency with turbocharged engines only applies when comparing a smaller displacement turbocharged engine with a larger displacement N/A engine. Both engines may make equal peak horsepower, but the smaller, turbo engine uses less fuel than the big engine, when the smaller engine is NOT in boost.

hartsickdisciple Nope. Turbochargers, for the last time, *CAN* increase fuel economy. Why do you think Subaru puts turbochargers on their 2.0L Boxer engines? From Imprezas, Legacys, Foresters, and more. Specific situations, and lots of meticulous engineering there can be like a 2-3 mpg increase. It's small and usually insignificant but there is a small increase.

It's running low boost because it needs a tune. Put too much boost in an engine that isn't tuned yet for that boost and you'll blow it. Not more air, it'll just explode.

Thats because one, that car actually has rwd and can use the wings down force capabilities. 2 the body actually looks good and isnt zipped tied on like the billion Honda's on the road today. Three this car is turbocharged and will probably be tuned for the three inch exaust (although I think thats 4 inch which is pretty excessive) rather then just being bolted on loosing horsepower and torque just to be loud, obnoxious, and having the bragging rights of saying you have a large exaust. Not to say I dont like Honda's, I actually used to drive a 99 civic. I almost always hated the drivers, I accepted the fact without a complete overhaul there was no way in hell that car was ever going to be fast

Very well built. Looks and sounds awesome + lady driven👌. Why are Z's so well accepted by the car community but V6 Mustangs so criticized? I get the whole "if you gonna buy a muscle car, you go V8 or not at all" but the 2015 V6 Mustang isn't half bad... pretty good bang for your buck too.

Cuz there's really no reason to get a mustang other than the engine. Import v6's generally speaking are lighter, higher quality, more capable platforms than domestic v6's. All other things aside, you'd always choose the higher spec engine if money was no issues and if you don't want the v8 there is much better v6 platforms on the market. Honestly now that the i4 turbo exists I don't see the v6 stand living a very good life, it'll always be that car girls buy when they think they want a sports car lol

Thats exactly how i see it lol. They are loaners or rentals. The type of car that can appeal to "sportier" demographics, but its not a great choice from a performance standpoint. But of course any car can be made brilliant with money. I remember seeing a new mustang v6 single turbo that was pretty damn quick and its not like theyre bad cars. To me personally though theyre just kind of the "general consumers" version of the mustang, whereas the V8 and the turbo are a little more performance friendly.

Just got this exact model year in a base vesion (41,000 mi) no creature comforts like rpm matching, gps or bose. Love the manual 6 speed and ability to feel the road with the agressive suspension setup. Looking at twin turbo pricing and installation costs now. Body kit stuff afterward. Brembo brakes as in this video would be last on my task list, so yeah, braking early would be key until then. Looked at the NISMO version, but cost vs minimal upgrade in performance didnt seem worth it. LOVED this video, sharing NOW.

no problem putting it at low boost if this isnt some hardcore race car. safer for the engine that way!

Love the new editing with the swing arm during the beauty shots! The first vid done with them ('14 corvette I think) and a few after that were a bit out of place (all the shots are slow panning, and those were quick drops). Fantastic balance now. The car looks like it makes too much noise, in the best way possible.

370Z Nissan brakes are Akebono but Nissan branded. Just replace lines with steel braided and HiPro brake fluid and you're golden.

The very first time I saw Paige's car was from a dyno video she posted almost 2 years ago and I fell in love with it ever since. Blue 370z's look so sexy, and with bits of carbon fiber and some grey here and there, it just makes the blue pop so nicely. Pretty cool to see you meet her and review her car. It's an absolute jaw-dropper!
