Lovely looking motor ,,it amazes me how 450 bhp is not mega power anymore ,,the crazy thing is its insane power but because you know it's capabilities you want it to be 700 + even so impressive build !

I often think that. Can you remember back to when you were 17 and you thought 200bhp was mental power lol. Perception changes as get older. This was still genuinely fast just not rip your face off. Bullen has the block, pistons rods etc to build a forged motor and using the same kit will see 600. Just waiting for motor to go pop first I think!

@@CJK20 so true I remember in about 1994 ISH a geezer at work had a M2 escort harrior in strattos silver and he bought a engine of one off the local drug dealers it was 160 bhp and he had it all built and wrapped his Mexico round a tree then sold the engine to this man at work ,,,it was so quick ,,2.1 pinto blue printed with twin 40s ,,if I drove that car now I'd think it's slow as fuck !!!

Maybe with a couple of turbos they could tempt your fancy my friend! I think they’re a good looking. I don’t think they were meant to be an out and out straight line machine or track car. Just a big comfortable gran tourer that eats up the miles :)

Thanks for commenting mate! Yeah it would have made little more power possibly but the limiting factor is the rods. So that probably would still have been the case. Bullen has another motor at home, forged rods and pistons. So will be seeing 600+ in near future!

These HR comments are just stupid probably doesn't even own a Z. The reason you dont really see turbo HR Z's is Becuse they are more limited to mods that also includes turbo kits for the HR. And they very exspensive to turbo compared to the DE going to pay a pretty penny for an Turbo kit on an HR if you do managed to find one.
