why the hell would they put the standpipe right in the middle of the live well? That thing needs to be an overflow or at least move the standpipe back so it's not right under the lid.

Hey Steve - we agree that's not the best way to do it, but we also see it on a LOT of boats. Fact is, it's a much easier plumbing job (and thus less expensive) than doing an overflow, so it's very common.

@@FishTalkMagazine But you could do a flexible pipe with fastener to the back of the tank too instead of just straight up hard pipe to the center right where you dip your net into. see what I mean?

@@FishTalkMagazine The stand pipe is right in the way of dipping. Unlike something like the way Grady did it. It's a stand pipe but it's back out of the way. kzbin.info/www/bejne/nqHHYYpodpt5hZI I've seen other aftermarket ones where it's a stand pipe but it's in the corner of the well back out of the way. The TV one is right in the way. m2c
