I can relate soo much I just joined a new job and am really not loving how introverted and how uninterested I probably come across. I have started watching Julienhimself it’s a KZbin page it’s amazing! He talks about how us introverts over analyze anything before saying it and how we filter to only say things of value. But he explained how letting go and saying anything that comes to mind is the way we can master small talk. It’s working soo far 😀 love your channel btw I’m a new subscriber

I’ve never thought you are an introvert 😅 but , I can completely understand every situation or every word that you explained , I completely relate to it and I’ve got some inspiration that we introverts can do great! 😌 Yeah that HR COMMENT that’s something I faced with people no matter how much I try to speak up or involve! Somehow they know I’m an introvert! And it’s really uncomfortable when they know that I’m an introvert! Becuz, it’s like some notion about me in their heads! I drew myself a hot bubble bath and listen to the entire podcast on Apple podcast and GIRLLL!! What an episode 🥳🥳 I am an extrovert but I understood everything you said. Psychologist here 😅 so yes I completely get all your struggles. One piece of advice for standing up for yourself: Set your intent and what you want from this and then ask yourself, if it is to win or to get the best outcome. If the answer is the best outcome, you have your motive sorted. You have the comfort that you are not doing this for selfish reasons because this is the preconceived notion regarding confrontations. Whenever I am out to have a difficult conversation, I sit with myself and see why I am doing this. And when I am having the conversation, I state the objective from the beginning and I remind myself and the other person what the goal is here over and over again so emotions do not take over and we both feel safe in the conversation. Hope this helps. Super excited about Greece 🥳🥳
