I noticed in the video it appears you placed the ground support stakes a bit farther back from the guide that is included. If so how far out did you adjust? Putting up my first Twinkly Light Tree, same size as yours, and Im beyond excited. Thanks so much for the instruction and hope to hear back! So much appreciate your time.

I wanted as much tension as possible so I followed the guide and then pulled the strings tight by moving them further out, coped pretty well with some gusty winds, I didn't want them flapping and the pole flexing - Hope that helps, enjoy your tree they are amazing!!

It was well anchored, I used better pegs than the provided ones which are just a thin metal sticks, I used t-bar style pegs- it swayed gently in strong winds but withstood quite a few storms, make sure there is quite a bit of tension and no slack is my advice!

It has withstood some quite windy weather but thankfully we don't get hurricane weather here ))

Not supposed to be so tensioned at the bottom so the bottom light strings aren't stretched tight.

I'm glad I had it so tight after the recent stormy weather, would be ok if you had it in sheltered area, I'm certain the tension stopped the wind damaging the tree pole as it is not very sturdy

We almost bought the 6m one, and might get it for Christmas 2022, but I do worry how it would fare in the windy weather. We had a storm a couple of weeks ago and this one was swaying like crazy )) Thanks for stopping by :o)
