As always, it's very interesting to see the differences in twin behaviour between the Introverts (Seoeon and Sua) and the Extraverts (Seojun and Seola). This is not to suggest that all introverts are "good" and all extraverts are "bad"; however, there is a correlation between extraversion and "troublemaking", because extraverted children tend to have more bloodflow in the parts of their brains that correlate to sensory and emotional experience. They want to try everything (right and wrong), and being young, they don't understand why they can't. So the dilemma we have in dealing with extraverted children is how to establish rules without repressing who they are. This is why I think it is so important to consistently explain -- to both introverted and extraverted children -- WHAT is right or wrong for them to do, and also WHY it is right or wrong. Introverted children tend to grasp this ably, as they are prone to self-reflection, but extraverted children are also capable of learning the same. What helps in their case is continuous reinforcement.

I have younger cousins who are twins and i'm amazed how true it is that in twins, there's the active one and the passive one or the extroverted and the introverted or in this case, the Seola-Seojun pair and the Sua-Seoeon pair. It's really such an interesting and amazing thing. Also, maybe that's why the triplets are so amusing because they also display this spectrum of personalities. Daehan being the introvert, Minguk the ambivert and Manse the extrovert. These kids are all really precious. I love you KBS for making this show.

Seoeon will grow up as a honest and caring boy. Sua will grow up as a kindhearted girl but also is a litte bit of shy typed. Seojun and Seola are also kindhearted but sometimes in terms of survival, they use their brains first. Like they choose the big box because in their brain there will be more snacks in it. While Seoeun(to be honest Sua only sat quietly because she's distracted by her nails maybe because she's nervous) use his heart or loyalty to choose what he brought earlier.

while it's unhealthy to promote lying at such age, when children begin to lie, you can take it as a good thing because it's an indication of development and growth.

They are not promoting lying at a young age, but like the expert said at the end of the video, yelling or scolding children and making them believe they are bad children because they lied is not the best approach because they are still so young and learning; it is best for their parents to show them the right thing rather than scolding them for the bad. Their parents' most likely did that outside of the video and do that in their daily lives that you and the rest of the public eye are not aware of. This clip and this show is only a tiny portion of these childrens' lives and their parents' parenting skills and methods. These parents' most likely and probably told their children that lying is bad outside of the this show. These kids are 4 year olds and this show is not a depiction of their moral and ethical values. Please keep that in mind.

Oh please, Song Ilguk isn't a saint. Also, the clip is not meant to demonstrate disciplining a child for lying*, but to demonstrate the differences in behaviour between twins, and to show that lying is a part of a human child's development. * I am sure that Lee Hwijae and Lee Dongguk are attempting to teach their children to tell the truth, even if it isn't shown here. Furthermore, the child psychologist raises a good point by saying that you shouldn't mindlessly discipline children and call them "bad" for doing something they don't intrinsically know is wrong. Teaching children WHY they should tell the truth and WHY something is right or wrong is far more effective, because they will develop an ethical foundation. Their behaviour will then proceed from reason and empathy, rather than just being ruled by fear of punishment (and not knowing why a wrong action is wrong).
