This song references a line from Romeo and Juliet. In the play when Juliet is on the balcony Romeo tells her that he’ll swear his love by the moon but she tells him not to swear his love by the moon because it’s ever changing (meaning the moon always goes through different phases) and she wants him to swear his love by something more permanent. That’s why the styling of their clothes and the video looks like it’s from an earlier era.

I think you'll like the choreo for Hard carry Eclipse Calling my name Breath Last piece Got7 is 7 members and there all rounders pretty much. They're also one of the most trilingual groups. Mark is from LA, speaks English, Korean, Cantonese I believe. Jackson is from Hong Kong and speaks Mandarin, Cantonese, English, Korean and speckles of others. BAMBAM is from Thailand speaks Thai which I think is also called Siamese. Korean, English JB, Youngjae and Jinyoung speak Korean but also do well in English and Japanese when they do interviews or special stages. They really are incredibly diverse. Got7 are an older Kpop group as well slightly younger than BTS and are on very good terms with them. Idol groups often have similar situations and hardships so friendships are born easily. I hope you enjoy them :)

Hi there. Jinyoung and Youngjae can both rap as well. Jinyoung debuted as the rapper of JJ Project & has done some rapping on the earlier GOT7 songs as well. Youngjae has rapped on their Japanese song Moriagatte Yo and also on Born Ready from their latest album. He's also done some impromptu rapping on their Kiss the radio interviews.

I love these dudes. Their vibe is so cool, crazy and fun. Also, they tend to stay in the R&B world. JB (Leader and primary songwriter) was build for that ish. Also They're quite international. As you already know, Jackson is Chinese, Bambam is Thai and Mark is Taiwanese-American. The rest are Korean. :) They're social butterflies too. I think because of Jackson. That man...(NOT my bias, lol, but God bless him!) Their fan base (Igot7/Aghase) is also pretty unproblematic and chill as well, a rarity in the Kpop world, lol. Ron, your "bias" is Bambam. He and Lisa grew up together and were in the same dance group as kids. Finally, this song is based on Romeo and Juliet.

When we say GOT7 = Visual7, we mean it. They all are so fine. A little help to get in members from my side. There is three rappers in group - Jackson, Mark and Bambam but the thing is GOT7 are highly multitalented. So, Vocalists can rap too and rappers have some great vocals too. If I go to vocals let me introduce how much freaking quality they hold in vocals. Mark 4:30 - (Oldest, Main Rapper, Lead Dancer, Visual, Sub vocalist ) He has great flow in rap. Has a great kind of duality in voice and rap. When he rap it is deep, when he does vocals it is sweet and innocent. Jaebeom(JB) 6:45 - (Leader, Main Vocalist, Lead Dancer) Consider as one of the most unique and powerful voice at the same time in the whole KPOP. He hit high notes effortlessly. His voice is soulful, little nasally and melodious. He hit the note 'moon' in this song Jackson 3:53 - (Main Rapper, Lead Dancer, Lead Vocalist, Moodlifter) He got the most unique voice with rasp which is present in his rap and vocals. He is pretty good in vocals. You can check out his solo dope songs (100ways, Pretty Please, Bullet to the heart) Jinyoung 3:24 - (Actor, Lead Vocalist, Lead Dancer, Visual) Got heavenly melodious voice and his falsetto is something which no one can compare in KPOP. He is a great actor too. He has acted in lead role in two popular dramas He is Psychometric and When my Love Blooms. Youngjae 5:20 - (Main Vocalist, Lead Dancer) This guy out there eats CDs while performing live. Consider as one of the most stable and powerful voice in KPOP. He is just great vocalist and hit high notes effortlessly. He hit the last note in ending of this song Bambam 3:35 - (Lead Rapper, Lead Dancer, Sub Vocalist) He has modern flow in rap which has so much swag. Besides that he got good vocals too. He is shining in dancing nowadays Yugyeom 4:06 - (Main Dancer, Lead Vocalist, Maknae(youngest) One of the best dancer out there. He is so good at dancing. His voice is a little nasally which compliment JB's voice a lot. He improved a lot with vocals, his childlike tone balance group's high vocals. And yes please go through dance practice, this choreo is clean. And they have some more sick choreographer like Eclipse, Hard Carry, Last Piece, Not by the Moon, Aura, Poison, You calling my name.

We love GOT7. One of the few groups that is close to our boys, BTS, and is a whole bunch of dorks and crackheads 🤣 Jackson Wang is close with RM. He loves to bother him. And Bambam and Yugyeom are in the same group of friends with Jungkook that’s called 97 Liners. They’re funny. Their music is good too. I love GOT7 as well as I love BTS. JACKSON WANG is the leader both of his parents were Olympians for china. His father was a Fencer and mother was Gymnast. Jackson gave up his spot on the Olympic team as a fencer and a full scholarship to Stanford to audition for JYP. Mark is the only american in the group is his best friend and Bam Bam grew up with Lisa of black pink and danced on the same dance team. He has two solo albums he so so talented. i see you reacted to a lot of bts, got7’s great friends w bts, especially the maknaes and namjoon+jackson this song is amazing and the performance won them a daesang but they have so much more amazing music i recommend breath and last piece (most recent title tracks) some fandom fav bsides are come on, teenager, page, thursday, aura, poison (all self produced) one of my fav live performance is the 2019 AAA stage or you could start by watching a guide or funny compilations, they’re not doubt one of the most chaotic groups looking forward to reactions!! i got into kpop thanks to bts but they led me to got7 who are now my ults :))

GOT7 are hella funny guys. Only 4 of the members are actually Korean. BamBam (your rap bias) is from Thailand. Jackson is from China. Mark is from L.A. and he’s Taiwanese-America. They all do their own solo projects also - music, art, photography, videography, radio shows, etc. Super talented crew.

The teasers, concept photos and vlive #EveryDateGOT7 with each member was to “DYE” for. They were so charming 🥰 the album itself brings a dark dramatic elegant style to it, which reminds me of their I Won’t Let You Go & Eclipse era with Jackson‘s comeback “100Ways”. If you know those albums and song then you’ll know what I mean. Their title track “Not By The Moon” for this comeback is such a melody to my ears and I cant help notice the symbolism they used from some of their previous albums adding to their storyline with a classy novel concept and powerful vocals along with sharp rapping from the rapline. Youngjae, Jinyoung & JB hitting those high notes and don’t even get me started on their fits & JB long hair 👀 *After reviewing a few times reminds me of Shakespeare’s Romeo & Juliet story about lovers who kills themselves over love; where Juilet didn’t want him to go to have love to last forever but Romeo ends up dead by poison and Juliet kills herself because she doesn’t want to live without Romeo. There’s constant phases like ‘O Swear Not By The Moon‘ that reference Juliet telling her lover Romeo not to make a promise by the moon since it always changes, poison bottle that was used to kill Romeo and the row of coffin then at the end they’re riding off inside a western carriage.* My biases JB, Jackson, Jinyoung and Yugyeom but I love & support OT7.* #GOT7NotByTheMoon

Hey, sorry for my poor English but I am going to try to explain the meaning of the song, actually the title “not by the moon” is inspired in Romeu and Juliet, in the book Romeu says “I love you and I swear by the moon” (something like that) but Juliet says “do not swear by the moon, the moon is always changing and I want our love to be concrete”, so that’s why they talk a lot abou dying with someone, Romei and Juliet dye together, actually their album tell the history of Romeu and Juliet inté title, is really good Hope it helped you, love got7❤️
