It's not the beans it's how they are prepared 😊 Ana doesn't like it with a smoky taste probably. Each thing can be prepared in various styles, with different spice . Sweet or salty or spicy ..., fried, baked or boiled too. Alicia is now learning about nutrition and about health nutrients 🤗 😋

Yum, I love baked beans. My grandmother used to make them and she would let me help her. I still make them to this day. I do not have a recipe but I mix things up until they taste like granny's. I really commend the person that suggested nutritional yeast and you for trying it with the girls. To help the transition I would suggest you put it into an empty Parmesan cheese container in the fridge. They have learned you go to the fridge, bring the container out and what is inside is their cheese. Just a gentle suggestion. They are adorable and you are a very good natural teacher. When you mentioned falling on the toy chest, it reminded me of a Tory of my nephew. He had just started walking and my sil put him in stiff sandals and shoes. So I bought him a pair of Robeez when they first came out. Kinda like leather moccasins so their toes can grip. Well, he was staying at grandparents and they’d just dropped him off and he’d just started walking. He fell and hit his mouth, wearing stiff sandals, and knocked both two front teeth out! Needless to say, my brother and her rand back and took to hospital. Thank goodness it wasn’t worse! Accidents do happen!

Our dog (Beano) is very old and usually sleeps in the spare bedroom (on the bed😅) when we aren't eating. One of these days I will try to get him downstairs to hang out with all of us. The girls have pet him and he seems to be ok around them and they are very nice and gentle with him. But he is very old and likes his naps in his comfy bed😆💖💖

@aliciabarton3497 The two things on this earth that make me the happiest are dogs and children (not in a creepy way), and I just love watching them interact. We have 2 old dogs (border collie @ 15 & Australian shepherd @ 14), and when the BC was young, she LOVED being around any child. It was difficult to keep her at our side at the park if there were kids playing. She wanted to be with the kids. Now, she prefers to just sleep. I know you have your hands full with the girls, but I hope you'll consider a canine playmate/protector in the future.....of course after Beano (cute name!) has had a long, happy life.

We will definitely make sure they have a canine companion. Beano doesn't like other dogs in the house (he's fine with them when we're out) so we will have to wait until he crosses the rainbow bridge before we introduce a new dog. I hope we have a few more years with Beano so the girls can remember his calm peacefulness. He really is a great dog and has a special place in our hearts 😊💗💗

Parmesan is fine, it has protein and fat, vitamins and minerals, so I wouldn't worry too much.. I'm doing keto carnivore ,lol.. high protein low carb... kisses to Anna's cheek xxxx

I'll still use parmesan from time to time, but I'm more concerned about the salt content in parmesan cheese. And they do eat a lot of cheese so if I can use the nutritional yeast 2 out of 3 meals and have them think it's also cheese then at least I'll be limiting their salt intake😊💖💖

Usually once we are done our meals Beano goes back upstairs to sleep😆 If he ever hangs out downstairs I will try to get a video of him and the girls, but he mostly just sleeps. The girls have pet him and they think it's so funny and Beano seems to like the pets, but he definitely prefers the sleep more😆💗💗
