Loved the drawn out decision of Guin trying the oatmeal! I was so relieved when she finally ,actually tasted it ! Whew! Meanwhile the Ana sideshow with the spoon she used so well and then using the straw in a way I've never seen, especially when consuming oatmeal was too fun and hilarious and sweet all at the same time! These two know how to put on a hilarious video and I'm guessing they don't even know they're doing it! ❤❤😂😂

Hello Dear Bartons. Love it. I think I like you. ❤❤ Lovely Gwen. Reminds me of Keith Partridge, I think I love you song. Then she said I can't take it. Kids, babies say the darnest things. Suggestion, I had sippy 🥣. Especially cereal, hardens and sticks. Scrubby wire brushes work great to thoroughly clean the straw part. However they sell them for a cheap price to replace frequently. They are great for winter soups & cereal. Love them and happy the like oatmeal. Very healthy. Thanks again for a happy nibble at real life, HOME❤❤❤❤😂

Good morning, sweet girls. You both amazed me. you're not scared to try all the new foods Alicia gives you. I like oatmeal, with butter and dab of sugar and cinnamon. But I've never seen any that was soupy like that. I would have been opposite, I'd ate the oats and not the soup part. Anna, you did awesome scooping with your spoon. Guin informing us she changed her mind, she likes it. Just shows us that our little sweet hearts are so advanced for almost 3 years old. Watching them and not knowing their age, you'd think they were 5. Alicia and Walt, you have done such great jobs teaching these sweethearts! Hope you all enjoy your day outside.❤ Kathy

We have been making overnight oats for years🙂 Make ours in half pint Mason jars for the little ones, and 1 pint Mason jars for teens/adults. Love using Bob's Red Mill Old Country Style Muesli which is whole grain wheat, rolled oats, raisins, almonds and walnuts. Sometimes I add some dried cranberries along with homemade yogurt, homemade milk kefir, and a teaspoon of pure maple syrup. Sometimes I use old fashioned steel cut oats, some plain homemade yogurt, homemade milk kefir, bananas, blueberries, some chopped up walnuts or almonds and a teaspoon of pure maple syrup. Also, like using oat groats.

Alicia, my mother used to make tiny individual pizzas with toasted English muffin halves. Cheese & sauce on top, under the broiler. They are adorable when cut into quarters. You could probably think of lots of creative little toppings.

It is called mirror image twins. Certain features are the opposite of one another, such as a lazy eye on the right of one twin and a lazy eye on the left of the other twin and/or cow licks on opposite sides etc. I have mirror image twin brothers.

You might try instant grits this winter. Even restaurants use the instant grits. You can serve them the Northern way with butter and sugar as if it’s cream of wheat. Or the Southern way with shredded cheddar cheese. I also use shredded pepperjack, but I’m sure the girls will say it’s too spicy.

ALICIA, have you ever tired the large lumen short straws? They have almost twice the opening of regular staws but are much shorter. They would be great for the overnight oats and can be cut even shorter than their original 6 inches. They are also flexible. We use them with our nephews for ice cream sodas so the ice cream doesn't clog up the straw. I got them @ Kroger and @ The Dollar Tree.

It's so cute to hear the girls say "I don't like it" before they try it! Then Ana seems to try food more easily. Guin takes a little longer to try the new food. It is so funny! And finally she tastes the cereal, and decides she likes it! Well, both mostly like the liquid in the cereal! The straw seems to amuse Ana. Mom is doing a good job of encouraging the girls!
