It was so cute how Ana informed Dada she did not like his changes of face and head. Guin waited a bit but then asked to see more angles of Dada's head, I laughed when she said that was not a good idea. We all want accolades when we make changes but Dada got brutal honesty instead. I so enjoy Guin and Ana and wish the whole family a wonderful day.

Enjoyed your comment. Yes, children can be brutally honest😂. Many years ago my husband returned from work and we were just chatting in the kitchen when he said “It doesn’t look that bad then.” I replied “What?” He turned his head to the side and I did my best not to laugh. 😮 “What did you do?” He explained “Well, I was in a hurry this morning and I thought I’d just trim it up a bit, not realizing the guard wasn’t on. I’ve been talking to people all day like this.” As he demonstrated turning his head away. In a concerned voice he asked how long it would take to grow back. By this time I’d cracked up😂. I told him he’d be better of trimming the whole lot back. Back then he had quite dark hair and the swathe that was missing was really noticeable. Just then our 3yr old walks in, takes one look at his dad and says “Daddy looks like the cat!” We’d recently had our cat spayed . 😂😂

Lately I think I'm watching as much for the new items you're introducing as for these baby girls. We grow prickly pear out here but it never occurred to me to eat it as a fruit. We cook with it and make pickles of it, make jam. El nopal, r cactus for Mexican food, is something we do with it but this is all new. The girls are cute today has the assess dad's new look. Too funny.

Oh how fun. I used to go out in the fields here in Texas and pick the prickly pear fruit off of the cactus and make prickly pear jelly. It was delicious but getting all the tiny stickers off was murder.

Alicia, I gotta give you credit...you tried just about everything to get Ana to taste her red prickly pear. The fun circle shape definitely made it enticing, but it seems like both girls much prefer the taste of the traditional white pear. Did you watch her Q&A video? She answers a lot of questions. It was really interesting to watch. Their plates are only about the size of a saucer. They are children's plates. The camera makes everything look a lot bigger. If you notice today she said it was a half a piece of toast each and that piece of toast looks huge. If the girls don't like the prickly pear, Georgie the tortoise in Tucson, Arizona would love to have it! (It's a cute story I saw recently about a Sonoran desert tortoise who couldn't be released to the wild, so she was adopted out through the state's conservation program, as they are an endangered species. Her new mom asked the neighbors to share their weeds and stuff to expand Georgie's diet, and turns out she looooooves the neighbor's prickly pear. And the prickly pear lip gloss she discovered at the same time, lol! 💋😄)
