Exactly. Instead of just, well guess whether you have been through that door or not. Caddy's review of it has that he didnt see the door being open and he ended up in a loop by going back to dingodile all over again lol. So that transition would help A LOT.

DeoxysAndMew 2 I did something similar in the 10th dimension where I walked into the wrong area after the cortex chase and they made me go all the way back to opening cutscene for the world, had to do the slide section all over again

I remember seeing this. More of a reason for them to reboot Twin Sanity and give it a needed touch up. (Don't get me wrong, I loved the original game but at least give us a full length game.)
