Rachel I have eyes the same as yours after years of wearing hard contact lenses. It’s a miracle but the brain adjusts. And Jo I have a pacemaker too. I love your knitting.

So lovely to spend the evening with you. I loved knitting my Northeasterly Blanket. I used advents and leftovers and really enjoyed the randomness of it. I completed one long strip and then joined the next, rather doing what the pattern suggested. Jo’s looks like it going to be lovely. Another great podcast, I love how natural you both are 😘 xXx

I’m casting on too many shawls & I still need to finish my alpine bloom tee 🙈 Cataract surgery is amazing, my cousin has recently had his 2nd eye operation, my aunt had cataracts removed and new lenses in her eyes 6 months in between but it’s made a huge difference she is 82.

Lovely to spend 90 minutes with you while knitting a sleeve on my Lady Whistledown jumper. So glad you cataract op was a success and fingers crossed you can get the second one done fairly soon. I would love to test knit for you again Jo so will keep a watch out for the test call this week.

I had a cataract removed last year but asked for my eyes to be the same. The other is very slow growing. I was so scared but no pain and over in about 10mins. The worst part for me was all the drops needed afterwards x
