Being from Sussex, Newhaven/Dieppe is our favourite crossing, the boat may be older, the crossing longer than Dover/Calais but its usually cheaper and saves driving to/from Dover or Folkestone. Also, don’t see many would be stowaways either!

That's actually incorrect. European trucks, unlike American and Canadian trucks, do not have them. I know this because I work in a transport cafe that provides showers and toilets for drivers. My question should have been as to how Dringy was coping when places like ours have had to close down because of Covid. Cheers

The French definitely put boris under pressure and it worked in their favour. We need to start fining France for every migrant that they escort into British waters! I felt sorry for all the European drivers stuck on our side, they were very angry with Macron. I hope they were given hotels etc if they were stuck here. Happy new year 🙂
