Diesels are very economical engines, perfect for small cars to save money on fuel or for huge semis that can benefit from the insane torque of these engines. But are they good for a supercar?
Today I design a supercar in automation to compete with other insane supercars of the mid 2000s.

next time you make a "diesel" engine in automation, try and make like I do, compression on MAX 15:1 and then do the rest.

2:44 Diesel is not high octane. It is to do with when the fuel is injected into the cylinder. However in automation to get high compression you do need high octane so fair enough.

You just need to take the sound config code out of a beamng car engine .jbeam and paste the code into your car! So find a beamng car go into the files find the Engine.Jbeam file Find the code where it talks about soundconfig copy it and paste it where your cars sound config is!

Video idea, an body that looks like a new Fiat 500, with an 999 cc 4 cillinder turbo engine or a 1250 cc 5 cillinder turbo engine, both revs up to 12000 rpm, Engine is forged. The power out put is 400 hp to 600 hp. The engine sits in the front and AWD or RWD is required. Weight is between 1770 lbs to 2000 lbs, carbon fibre and monocoque. There is no maximum cost price. It's just an idea, do what you want with it.
