I didn't know in America they are used to model at a twirling competition! Do you know why they do that? Has it anything to do with twirling? In Holland they don't have the modelling part!

Well we have something like showtwirl but it's called Mandm it's in groups and you can use umbrellas flags baton ribbon and other stuff I have a comp a few days before my birthday

I've got a competition Saturday. I'm in a corps, dance twirl, and show team. I would really love to try dress modeling or strutting in my next competition. I know how to do them, but I really want to know how good I am at it compared to other people.

What does dress modeling have to do with twirling? The skills of twirling are pretty impressive, but dress modeling seems kinda hokey.

Some may argue it teaches confidence, poise, etc. and others say it is pointless. In my opinion, it holds the sport back and should be done away with. Thanks for watching!
