I was 8 in 1963 and I still remember well when I jumped with my twin brother during the Christmas holidays to the Beatles' Twist and Shout. Since 1965, when I got a record player, I started collecting Beatles records. I still regularly ' jump ' swing and slow on Beatles music with my wife! Thank you for your performances, enthusiasm and positive attitude!

Hi Graham, if I'm remembering things correctly from a documentary I saw once. The Beatles were recording their first album and a reporter dropped in for a while. The Beatles needed one more song to compleate the album and were discussing which song to play when the reporter said "You played a fantastic version of La Bamba when I saw you playing last, why not do that one" They realised he meant Twist and Shout which was a cover of a song by the Isley Brothers. John Lennon wasn't kean because he had a bad cold at the time but they gave it a try and the rest is history.

Hi Rod...thanks so much for the info info and I'm sure that's what happened ...we even start with " La Bamba " and then go into " Twist and Shout " with our Eagle Ukes group and the two work great together...we had so much fun with this one as you can probably tell....nothing's ever scripted so I just react to whatever Roz comes out with...we always have a giggle....😂🤣😂😊....hope alls good with you and yours...💖💕🥰
