You know what? You are wonderful!? Gorgeous, stylish, SEXY clear and well spoken! I have been natural for about 8 years. I didn't wear my hair out because I wanted it to "look" a certain way when I took it out. Well, my hair looked/looks the way it WANTS TO! I have been trying to stretch it, twist it...whatever it. It does what it wants to do. last night, I watched your video and thought...this woman ain't STRESSED! She is literally working with what she got! She is beautiful. I am going to let my hair be what it is now. Today. I am loving my hair! Thank you.

Recently, I switched up some products and streamlined my routine. I FINALLY accomplished my exact length goal. I wanted to be able to braid and twist my hair into any braided or twisted style without HAVING to use extensions to “catch” the shortest pieces. Now, I do what I do and let my hair be its own entity. Last week, I had a twist that didn’t want to go in my planned direction sticking up like Alphalfa’s spike of hair. I love my hair and wear it in the best way that it loves to grow. Thanks for sharing!

*We have exactly the same type of hair and I am in awe of how so patient you are with this twists!! Can I ever!!!! Bantu knots with rubber bands have been my preffered styling but as my natural hair has been growing I have been wanting to try out twists and coils, boy! I probably should make a new hair tutorial with this and see. thank you for being so effortless and gracious*

COVID!! Glad I found you. My hair is naturally curly and thick to the point I have to part it to reach my roots.. I got caught in the rain twice and it curled back up from the blowout and then COVID happened and my barber is elderly. I wanted it to grow out, but I always cut it at the in between stage. Now I have no choice.. My hair is shorter around the sides and a little on the top. Thank you for the video even though I know it's years old..

GlamMzMore, I did the big chop today. It was liberating. I'm new to this so I will definitely continue to follow you. I love the twist out. You're simply beautiful. I enjoy watching and listening to your tutorials. You're precise and to the point. I have a couple of questions. Do you wrap your hair before going to bed? Do you apply products to your hair before going to bed?
@GlamMzMore9 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much and I'm so glad that my videos are helping you. I sleep in a satin bonnet and only reapply product when needed, usually in the morning.
@hellonjsingletary9419 жыл бұрын
Thank you! I'm hoping I don't get into the habit of getting it cut because I love the tapered, clean look. It did grow within the last 3weeks but I had my son who is a Barber shape it up and he cut it down to the original length. What I can I do to avoid this. I haven't gotten the whole twist out thing down packed.
@tupsberry9 жыл бұрын
+Hellon Singletary Hi, I had the same issue...barbers are much like hairdressers in that they love to cut! I told my barber I was growing out the top and just needed the sides tapered and he cut it down to what I had before, so 4 weeks of growth gone😕 May I suggest Googling tapered styles, print them and take with you. Show him what you want.

+Shanique Miller You are very welcome. I'm letting the top grow out some but plan to keep my hair tapered with the sides shorter. I plan to braid it this Winter so I don't want the sides too short though. It grows faster than I can cut it!

Beautiful! but how long did you wait to twist them out? A whole night or just few hours? Will Eco Styler Gel improve the length of time this hairstyle can last?
@GlamMzMore8 жыл бұрын
+No Katshiz I usually just let them air dry overnight, but these were in for three days since I was sick. I usually don't use Ecostyler for my twist outs, but a more moisturizing gel and it lasts long. Ecostyler may make it last a little longer as it will have more hold
@verarobertson17304 жыл бұрын
