Today is September 13th, 2023,and I have started using Taliah Waajid products since my hair started growing back from having breast cancer twice and it has really helped my hair grow. I am going to try a twist out when it gets longer. I have been using the curl elixir and the mousse and the leave in conditioner and shampoo. Thank you for your video ❤ God's love and blessings to you and everyone 🙏 ❤

It's not as coating, but it is good. I think I like the elixir better, but both gave pretty good results. Thanks for tuning in!

Thanks for doing this review. I have type 4 fine, low density hair and I chose the curl elixir. I'm hoping that I have good definition and minimal frizz with my next twist out.🤞🏽

Love your review!!!! You have to use less of the definer too.... I think it’s because it almost has a gel feeling to it. The products do great with chunky twists too 🥰🥰🥰 I love the leave in for doing my hair after my hair is towel dried and as a refresher ❤️

Thanks for the tip! When I refresh this twist out, I will use the leave-in and see how it works.

Im late! But the leave in, definer and wetline gel is a match made in heaven. My products work better on damp hair. Soaking wet hair frizz up so bad.😩 Also you have to rub the definer in your hands to warm it so it wont be ao heavy on your hair.

i tried the definer and wetline but got frizz and flakes, any tips?
@Mrsashley822 жыл бұрын
@@beymani5718 The definer can be heavy if you dont rub it in your hand before applying. I always add an oil before applying the gel.

Great review! I wondered if the more creamy one would feel tacky. I too do NOT like that product coating feel. This was very helpful for me, bc I feel the creamy one will be too heavy for my fine hair. ETA: did you ever re-try the curl definer/creamier one? If so, will you link that vid if you did one? Thx so much!

Hi and thanks for tuning in! I have the double butter cream in my stash and it is a long time favorite of mine. BTW, it is on sale at Sally's for $19.24 if you want to stock up.

@@NaturalRaeRae how do you feel about the butter in comparison to the elixir?
@NaturalRaeRae3 жыл бұрын
@@EtrnlMack I've not used the As I Am butter for a twist out. I've only used it under a hard hold gel for moisture. Maybe I will do a comparison video to see how they compare for a twist out. Thanks for the suggestion.

Great video! I appreciate the thoroughness of your review 🙂. I was wondering, between the Curl Definer, you reviewed here and the Curly Curl Cream also by Taliah Waajid, which do you imagine would work well paired with Obia's custard? Is one lighter than the other?
@NaturalRaeRae4 жыл бұрын
Thank you! I think both the curl definer and the curly curl cream are thicker products that I wouldn't really think about pairing with the obia custard because I would worry about flakes. However, you can try it. I believe the definer may be slightly lighter than the curl cream, but I think the elixir is even lighter. If you pair any of these with the Obia Custard, let me know how it turns out. I love the Obia Custard. Thanks for watching!

This particular line has no sulfates or silicones. However, you should always check the ingredients for yourself because brands do change up at times and something that was once sulfate/silicone free may not be later. Thanks for tuning in!
