Immensely. Were he a New Yorker his name would make it into all of the hip hop conversations. He also came up in an era where intelligence was important and you can see it in his comportment in spite of the "street" aesthetic.

This man literally takes two puffs, raps 80 syllables in 8 seconds, and proceeds with casual conversation without taking an extra breath. That shit is crazy...

I mean, there's _a lot_ of breath control involved in rapping that nobody talks about. Your diaphragmatic breathing is more important than if you're singing or playing a brass instrument

He said some real shit "some people can't fix they mouth to do it" I grew up studying Twista just like I did Nas I use to write down his verses. What I learned is Twista has a very distinctive way he executes each word. He really is doing something amazing. Don't get me started on his lyrical content and multi syllables. Definitely top 10 dead or alive.

You see how Twista is one of the greatest fast rappers of all time.. And he didnt even know his own "SPS" do you know why? Cuz he was a lyricist, and didnt care about how many sps he was spitting... All these fast rappers now a days.. And still can't fuck with the lyricism in the 1997 Adrenaline Rush album.. Songs like Emotions, Feels So Good, Unsolved Mystery, and OVERDOSE, death before dishonor... I grew up on that shit.. It was beautifully crafted over elegant hard beats.. Its legendary.. That album is in my top 5 of all time.. And yes Bone Thugs are legendary as well.. But you got all the youngstas now adays tryna rap as fast as possible.. Cuz they think that makes them better or good... When they didnt even master the basics of rap yet.. Twista wasn't a chopper, he was a real rapper/lyricist who could rap fast.. But the words he was rapping, and the rhymes, wordpatterns.. Were highly advanced.. Even today.. People cant fuck with Twistas old shit. In conclusion.. If you wanna be a fast rapper.. Then 1997 Twista Adrenaline Rush album is Something you need to study.. No question. I'm out.

DNA Tru Lyricist ..he is precise. He uses big words and chops them up. They had a world record holding stenographer keep up and translate every word and reread it after. The key to fast rapping is staying ahead of your tongue. Your brain has to be 3 maybe 4 bars ahead.

Does it matter if they are in the Book? No, it doesn't. Just because they are not in the Guinness Book of World Records doesn't magically make them not faster than Twista. They are still technically faster than Twista. And besides, It's not about SPM, it's SPS. If you actually measured it accurately this would actually be 13.2 SPS. However, Watsky and those other people I mentioned went 15 SPS and over. So just because they are not in the GBWR doesn't mean they are not faster than Twista.
