Primeval needs to make a return, having a car with that much armor, speed and attack power would be fun to just run into huge firefights without fear of getting killed so easily.

I was playing as primeval the other day with gameshark and found out you can just ram the generator in the blimp level with his special weapon and ignore the switches.

Primeval is pretty easy to beat with Thumper. Just sit to the side of the ramp so when he comes down, he's in front of you facing the edge of the blimp. Freeze then special. Freeze then special. He goes out the blimp every time. Without Thumper's special, you can do the same steps but use power missiles instead. They have a lot of punching power and knock the opponent back similar to ricochets in TM2.

Boy oh boy. WHen I was 10 years old I thought this was a 5/5 perfect game and now that I'm watching this video, gosh. I think Twisted Metal 2 was better.

I’ve always strongly disagreed that 2 was better than 3 but that may be because 3 was my first. However 4 is clearly awful

@@kefkarothsephka7708 I think 4 was a semi-sucky fail, and 3 was a light fail. 4 just had very weird starter characters (the bosses made things much better once unlocked), it seems to lack more vibrant or interesting stages, despite having fun ones. Lastly, the endings suck once again, same as 3. The gameplay is solid, albeit some cars have way too many of the same specials, and some are inferior versions of each other (Sweet Tooth > Moon Buggy special, Mr Zombie > Orbital, Crusher/Slamm/Auger, Goggle/Drag/Thumper, etc) As for 3 itself, it's a downgrade from TM2 in every way besides graphics and framerate. Gameplay is slightly dumbed down (no shield or other abilities besides jump and freeze really), and the physics really affect the game too much. But in defense of both, they are at least what I would call playable.

@@kefkarothsephka7708hard disagree. The developers only had like 8 months to produce Twisted Metal 3. They did alright with what they had. Twisted Metal 4 was miles ahead of 3 and had some the best most chaotic gameplay and battles. Twisted Metal 4 also had the most levels. One of the better titles in the series I’d say.

STILL can't play as Sweet Tooth at the beginning of the game. They did the exact same thing the 2nd game Sweet Tooth and Minion have to be unlocked with a code. Why can't Darkside be playable ? He was playable in the 1st game this is SO unfair. SERIOUSLY!

I can't get the in-game menu to pop up. I have the codes put in, including the two unplayable characters. I keep getting the regular character select menu. I did go to ''settings'' and turned ''in-game menu'' on. Any help will be appreciated, I wish there was a tutorial to follow. :(

If you own the game and its manual,on Primeval,it doesn't have his picture. All it says is "Photo not available-Primeval was busy tormenting souls when photos were taken."

Well, my disc is pretty scratched up, as I've had it for several years. It almost never reads in my PS2, but it works fine on my PS3, so if I ever get a Code Breaker, I'll have to try it out on my PS3.

Calypso.exe has stopped working. I actually enjoyed this game since it had primeval. I didn't care if the critics called the levels boring or physics shit. It's still enjoyable to play. I'd pick this back up. Even though the bots freeze you constantly. I somehow gotten used to it. :/ The bots in this game with the constant freezing and attacking describes pretty what twisted metal would look if the bots didn't sit around at all. I have to be thankful that they made the wheels look like they are moving instead of twisted metal two where they used color instead of texture but I mostly prefer this one since the bots move around and attack instead of twisted metal 2 where they sit around sometimes but it's still fun to play twisted metal 2 but this takes the cake. Also the only reason why I am not a fond of Twisted metal 2 is the fact of that I usually slide off ledges, or the fact that the head of sweet tooth is the same from the first one. I understand it was still changing during the time but they modeled the head for dark tooth but Don't you think they could've did the same for sweet tooth? Still I enjoyed this game during my childhood. This is just an opinion. No harm at all.

And If you chose Primeval as your ALLY, he have very weak armor like as Spectre, Club Kid or Spectre :[ I dont know why ally primeval's armor too weak, oh well i made him infinite lives cheat with gameshark code (Infinite Lives P2) Darkside Ally have great armor tho

I think the cpu is less likely to die when you have Primeval on. Highest armour grade I think. Very fast character too.

Well, as a europeanI use action replay, but all the codes I used are for gameshark. Also my versions for PS1 are NTSC. So the codes seem to be universal.
