Twisted metal is one of the best games i've played in my childhood, and i still plays in currently days. Even in 2020, i play Twisted Metal 4 and Twisted metal 2012 like a launching game. Today's children that plays Fortnite and PUBG will never knows what is destroy cars with heavy weapons while a Heavy metal plays.

The Twisted Metal series is kind of like the Friday the 13th movies. Each one has it's own unique interpretation. Thus why the character's change likeness in every game. Twisted Metal 2 was my personal favorite because I thought it had the most powerful story.

@Maxi5500 The song at 2:13 is called: One Minute Silence - South Central I haven't tried searching for it to download yet but a good way to rip these tracks if you really want them is to stick your Twisted Metal 4 CD into your computer or CD player and you could hear all tracks featured in the game including Rob Zombie's.

@pianoreloaded I get some feeling that might have been a mistake in the game's production. That could've possibly been the original message, but they revised it and shortened it for the sake of moving on in the cinematic. And, as they put in the new one, they overlayed the time of the original with the new one by only a split-second off.

I didnt care for this game in game mode but I loved playing my own blood thirsty buddies in multi-player and creating your own rides. We still dig this game out from time to time.

Each character had it's own storyline, and their own special attack moves, for instance this one disco guy had a disco ball that shot at your enemies, this black afro dude had massive speakers that would create a shockwave, the alien ship had a laserbeam, the garbagetruck could pick up a car in front of it and place it in the garbage etc, anyone know the name?

also, this intro to the beginning of Twisted Metal actually makes sense, this should be the story the game carries on, because they keep remaking the origin and ways of the tournament, and Sweet Tooth keeps changing. BTW, this was the FIRST twisted metal game to show Sweet Tooth as a badass!!
