To an extent they take advantage of it, by having the themes of the stage entirely fantastical and random, I.E. shrinking the contestants and putting them in a bedroom, sending them into the far future with Neon city or the past with Amazonia 3000, or even cyberspace with the grid zones

Thinking on one of the endings, Meter Maid actually could have been more clever. The wish should be been twisted to the idea that "he goes to to driver's ed before a 'few minutes later' flashes on the scream before you see the whole place just go up in flames." The idea that Sweet Tooth just went for a few minutes to satisfy the wish before burning the whole place down and the clowns run rampant. That actually would have been a fun way to show that even if Sweet Tooth grants a wish, he will still cause as much unnecessary chaos as possible.
