You are awesome! I'm currently studying for my CompTia A+ certification, and your videos on the different kinds of cables have been a massive help!

I wired our new place with Cat6 for 10gig LAN to attach my NAS and a plethora of other devices, including hotspots. Given that the largest chunk of the cost of cabling is labor, and the price difference between Cat5e and Cat6 is so small, it makes sense to go for Cat6 and have a future proof network. Especially since, many folks are increasingly adding smart devices, along with servers, plus multiple hotspots. Not to mention, many homes are already getting 1gig Internet, which will only go up from there. Anyone cabling their premises from 2020 onwards would be foolish to install Ca5e, just to save a few bucks.

Just a small note, it's Cat 6a not 6e, the "a" stands for augmented. Watch out for that on your CompTIA exams. Your doing a great job Sunny.

When you say horizontal cabling, do you mean between two IPs on the same network branch or do you mean between switches or do you mean something else physical?!

Thanks a lot for these information, But i’m wondering about, what type of signals can send/transmit via twisted pair cable, is it audio or video or some thing else?
@muhammadusman15642 жыл бұрын
excellent as always do you have any website where you cover full networking or certification like CompTIA or cisco cert etc as your way of explanation of things is quite simple and understanble

Hi Sunny can you help me with this A dynamic RAM is used to hold MAC addresses in the MAC address table. Suppose the table size was 8000 and that the memory access time was 100 ns. Assuming that a binary search was used to find an address, what would be the worst case look-up time?

my dear how about the cable needs for elevator. it has to be stranded but how long it will take to get the full power is it thesame as the solid as 100m maximum or it will be decreased and will the POE have a effect.

That means normal home speed is greater than t1 circuit which is 1.544 mbps

You really need to rethink your statement about stranded wire being inferior conductor to the solid one. Total crass area being the same. Might find out how electricity travels on conductors - while at it.
