Now he gets to feel some of the fear and helplessness that his victim felt.. now he is powerless to stop what's coming to him just like his victim was.. now he gets to sit there and dwell on his pending doom with no way out and no way to fulfil any of his last desires...I would call that justice. someone help me understand. why does the judge state, before sentencing, that an outburst by someone in the courtroom, following the sentencing of such an emotionally charged trial, would, in any way, make a difference in the trial or the sentence. once the sentence is given the case is, in essence, over. who cares if people express their emotions. its absolutely ridiculous, and tyrannical, for judges to take that position.

... one thing I don't understand , these killers turn into wimps and cry babies at the end , they do everything to stop their impending doom from appealing their sentences to life behind bars , they want their lives spared , did they spare their victims life ?? he didn't listen when they pleaded for their lives ?? .. this guy made his bed , and he has to lay in now ...

The way the defence counsel were so empathetic to this sadistic creature, makes me wonder how many men fantasize about doing the same thing to women.

That's the job of the defence counsel. Do you really want to do away with fair trials?
