For those that want an actual answer to the fursona thing, the answer is that the Easter bunny is a carry over from pagan times when the heralding of spring was associated with some goddess and her rabbit companion. The details are fuzzy(mostly because this is coming out of my brain and I can’t be bothered to google things rn to flesh things out for you), but the association of the rabbit was kept when Christianity was forcefully implemented as a way to appease the local populations.(I THINK this is a modern UK area history thing I’m going on about, but as I said, I’m too tired to bother getting any answers that my brain hasn’t already stored away) Short answer: No. the Easter bunny is not Jesus’s fursona. (Personally, I feel like Jesus would be a capybara if he had to pick a fursona anyways. It fits pretty well? A Capybara has never had an aggressive thought in its LIFE. Very chill.)
