We're a big country with a lot of people....therefore we have lots of individuals with less than an average IQ. Which, if you'll excuse my possible "ignorance", I believe is only a celebratory day here in the states. Considering the outcome of the events following the 4th of July 1776....I'm at least certain it is not really celebrated in the UK. Now considering the terminology and most of the first given measurements are consistent with English cultural norms (like what exactly is a "rasher"), despite the forgivable ignorance of the original poster's knowledge of proper measuremental nomenclature, his point still stands as correct. So perhaps we have proven my theory that ignorance does exist in your country. I would also hold your comment also points to the presence of a certain level of arrogance as well. Soooooo......maybe we shouldn't point fingers?
