For anyone not aware of this, Younger Brother, Shpongle, and Hallucinogen all have one person in common - Simon Posford. If you don't know the other two acts, PLEASE check them out!! CHECK HIM OUT! And he's got more music than the 3 I mentioned above. He's a genius. And his music and collabs, in all their forms, are lifting and mind expanding!

Man... found this band around 19 years old. I'm 30 now with 2 sweet little boys and I still love this album. Gives me feelings of nostalgia. Where did the time loop to? Makes me want to run off to the COSM and WILE OUT! I get waves of euphoria and waves of slight sadness. Feels like a time long lost. *Sigh*
@cdavis10673 жыл бұрын
OMG! I totally feel the same! Funny how what we are now experiencing, hearing, feeling will some day seem somehow nostalgic. This album definitely does that.

Thursday night I went fishing with friends on a completely deserted beach, with the moonlight shining like never before until at one point we saw lights in the sky, they were definitely UFOs because they were moving like nothing I've ever seen before. Since then and without knowing why "Happy pills" is playing in my head non-stop. I hadn't listened to this album in years and this experience brought me back. I think that in some way it is the ideal song to make contact. THANKS!

Your silly disagreement is indefensible, but I do look forward to your fascinating and informative explanation of why time is abstract.
@freeskierjim7 жыл бұрын
Time is abstract because its passage is directly related to the state of perception. I've had moments that lasted days and days that lasted for moment. “Put your hand on a hot stove for a minute, and it seems like an hour. Sit with a pretty girl for an hour, and it seems like a minute. That's relativity.” - Einstein.

Completely agree. There is almost nothing "floyd-esque" about this band, yet the comparisons abound, almost as if people just had to find a label to try to cram this music under. I enjoy Pink Floyd, but these guys are effing brilliant. I can listen to their cd's on repeat for days.
@MacAnters3 күн бұрын
Slightly disagree. One of the songs, I think it was the second one, made me immediately think "Oh wow that's so Pink Floyd". The rest of the album is very unique, and I agree with you otherwise. Nonetheless, this is pure art and I'm happy I discovered it
