Am trying to buy these for my partners 2017 CB500x but all lists are showing 2013-16, 2018-19. Did you buy ION footpads for a 2016 model?

I installed a pair of EVO's on my F650gs. They're more comfortable but stick out more to the side so much that they bump against your legs when you have your feet on the ground. I have to spread my legs more so I don't hit them. Hope it's just a matter of getting used to.

manufacturer sw-motech doesn't offer replacement rubber pads anymore (when I bought the set it was in their pruce list) if they wear off... for ne it is not acceptable practice...

Which one has the wider/longer circumference? I tried looking on there website and it only gives dimensions for the 2nd pair in the description. Cheers

You really don’t want to go too low cause it changes the rider triangle. ie, more back pressure, just my experience with a 1.5 drop on a dr650, Happy Holidays

This was very helpful. Thank you. I own a pair of the Ion pegs, and I love them but I'd really like to go lower. 15mm is not enough. I'm looking for 30-60mm. Any recommendations?

Hey BlockCylinder, If you are installing the pegs on a street bike, check out the MFW pegs (not suitable for off-road due to the peg shape). MFW uses an extension arm design, and the lengths vary from 23-50mm. Bear in mind, anything over 30mm is not recommended for the rider's pegs as it can greatly decrease your lean angle. If you are on a bike which needs the off-road pegs, then we would suggest using the SW Motech pegs in the lowest configuration and then check out some taller seat options for your bike. That can take the uncomfortable bend out of the knee while you are sitting.

@@twistedthrottle Sorry I never replied. Your advice was sound re: taller seat with the SW Motech Ion pegs. I'm riding a 2012 Super Tenere that generally stays on the road, but... You know you have to be ready, just in case. I did some custom mods to make the seat pan sit about an inch higher above the frame, and I also got a tall seat and a tall windscreen and 2" taller bars. All of that combined with the SW Motech Evo pegs has worked out quite nicely. I'm 6'8" tall, by the way.

Hi, thanks for video. It says EVO are -15mm and ION -15mm. But on picture with rubber it seems like EVO is higher than original one no? Is the -15mm with or without rubber? Thanks

In reality Evo with rubber pad in lowest position it is lower with 5 mm then original one , and with almost 15 mm lower whitout rubber pad. On Honda NC750x 2017. But it is visible larger and wider then original.
