Twister Review - Size Doesn't Matter | Gravity Group Wooden Hybrid | Gröna Lund

Twister is the 'classic' wooden roller coaster at Stockholm's Gröna Lund. It's made by The Gravity Group, LLC and their sub-company Gravitykraft Corporation in 2011 and is a hybrid coaster, being made of wood with a steel structure.
It's a powerful little coaster, despite being very small for a woodie, and it packs in a bunch of great airtime moments.

Great video, but quick correction: this wasn’t the first coaster to ever open w timberliners, that would be Wooden Warrior that opened about a month and a half earlier

I dunno why, but this looks pretty similar to White Lightning at Fun Spot Orlando. Small in stature, but making up for it in quality airtime. Also, there both hybrids!

Ridden both, White Lightning is quite a bit larger yet Twister feels more aggressive and out of control: it packs so much into a fraction of what WL occupies.

It is. While some may think it's in the lower end of Inverts, it's certainly still fantastic. Review up in a few days!

I have ridden two GG woodies; Wooden Warrior at Quassy and Hades 360 at Mt. Olympus. WW is fantastic, one of my favorite small wood coasters, and after many years, still smooth and thrilling. Hades... well... I understand some people like "intense" coasters. I used to be one of them, but this thing is just hot garbage and extremely painful. I did not see a single person get back in line after riding, and the queue kept getting smaller as the day progressed. Definitely not ideal for a parks flagship attraction.

Fun you mentioned "Size doesnt matter" in the title. I know u meant that it is a small rollercoaster but i got threw off this ride because i was too fat, im not even that overweight so i guess its made for very thin people lmao.

This coaster looks fun but it isn't as special as you think. Because it isn't fully wooden, it isn't a "woodie". As you mentioned in the video the stucture is similar to RMC but this ride just doesn't compare to RMC rides.

It doesn't need to compare to RMCs to be a super fun ride for me 😁 They have very different values. And while the supports are steel, I still classify it as a woodie, personally, since the track itself is wooden. Thanks for watching!
