I don't think there was any development with him other than his relationship with Kate. In the beginning of the movie, we see him just having fun and it's easy to misjudge that. Then we find out that he's actually a nice guy, not just a crazy tornado chaser

Remember when people were saying this movie was going to be a flop back when the trailers first released? Boy were they wrong this film was great. Not perfect, but in terms of getting the story through, they did it very well. And plus you actually got likeable characters.

the fact that I've loved learning about tornados for about half of my life, and a sequel to *the* tornado movie came out on my birthday was just what I needed. A special thanks to the Twisters team for making a tornado nerd like me feel special on my birthday :)

I took my family to see Twisters this past Sunday since there was a need for extras. So, what the heck. Very fast paced film. Well directed. Fun atmosphere and they were correct about weather. Day 1 an actual storm rolled in with real lightning in the vicinity. Was like a hurricane with all the rain coming down.

Just watched the movie and all my life I have loved and felt passionate of tornados and I've always wanted to learn abt them and throughout my childhood so far I've learned so much watching this im feeling even more exited and ready to chase the storms as my dream job, and I love the saying if you feel it CHASE IT!! 😁 definitely going to see it again bc of the way it made me feel and u feel the tornado thrill this young so in my future hopefully I'll chase it 😁

I just watched it today, and I loved it. as someone who finds the science of tornados fascinating, I really, really liked it. I've watched a lot of documentary's on the different storms over the years. I liked that they finished the film in El reno, the place were the last EF5 tornado was, it was a nice little touch. I'm still trying to figure out how in the movie universe they got one of the Original Dorthey units. I live in Iowa so we understand the power of these storms, and as well as how it can take an entire community to put their lives back together, I enjoyed this movie a lot.

IDK how old you are, but I was a pregnant RN when the Murrah Building bombing happened in 1995. My husband and MIL watched the news with me as OKC journalists begged for healthcare workers all over the state to respond to the carnage. They looked at me and asked if I was going to go. I reminded them I was pregnant and we didn’t know what I might be exposing the fetus to in the debris and body fluids. They agreed. And as it turned out, there were few casualties that weren’t mortalities. No need for nurses or doctors, huge need for undertakers. My husband’s cousin was the last body removed and I’ll never forget the HUD and first responders in attendance at her funeral; they were PTSD personified after having attended literally dozens of funerals by then. Well, those of us living in Oklahoma then will NEVER forget Connie Chung, NYC national news “journalist” expressing her “amazement” at how Oklahoma responded so immediately and thoroughly to this domestic terrorism. She clearly thought we were a state of hicks and hillbillies instead of a leading international center for meteorology and emergency response. Literally international emergency authorities visit Oklahoma to learn from the experts here. She was an embarrassment to herself.

Twister has been my favorite movie for years. And when I heard Twisters was coming out I was skeptical but oh man do I love that I was SO WRONG this movie was so funny and action packed! Plus the soundtrack is bonkers! I can't wait for the channel AMC to play both Twister and Twisters. In my head Twisters became part two of the original.

Lucky to have watched the movie ( 6 hours ago) for free to senior citizens in my country ( every Monday & Tuesday). It is far more entertaining than the original one. Special effects is amazing about the destruction of installations, infrastructures and urban areas.
