Nightmare fuel or gamedev inspiration, depending on how twisted is your mind :s I dig the Inception flavor and Silent Hill overtones!

and in a game engine, I should test how to exactly get the collision to twist as well so you can run down there! :D

This is great! I realize that the sound design isn't the focus, but it's really good. :D

Thanks! It's cool to have the little details appreciated as well! I think I could have pushed it much further in a few ways but stopped when it was close enough! 🙂

Rock on Tommy! I mean, Aidy! I'm 196! Also, I'd love to jog through that tunnel.

WOOHOO! Hello there!!! :D Pretty much 200 subs now double what i was hoping for this initial announcement of getting the channel setup. :D Yeah that tunnel is strangely enticing, think i'm going to try that out in UE4 and then perhaps you can run down it at least virtually. :D

@@AidyBurrows3D I think that would be fine run... pop dad's ye olde oculus rifte on yer bonce and away we go. Unreal! when I'm done with my film that is on my list. Plus eevee. I think I need to blender myself another head and pair of arms.
@AidyBurrows3D6 жыл бұрын
hahaaaa. Sounds like a plan! That film is such an amazing achievement! Your ability to stick to it is mighty impressive! :)

@@AidyBurrows3D I am half Brit bulldog after alll! BTW, I recently lined up the raw bits in Premiere, I've got one hour and 21 mins and a bit more to go. I'm on the long downhill trudge now. Polishing animation and spitting up the environments. As in 1914 it won't be all over by Christmas, but fingers and legs crossed, in the new year...

Glad to hear it! That still sounds like a mammoth task again very impressive!! But light does sound to be at the end of the tunnel at least! :D

Thanks!!! Definitely! Have been spending quite a bit of time lately working on lots of new free stuff for the channel and the Creative Shrimp site. New tutorial just uploaded and more to come! And hopefully i can get around to sharing this workflow too! :)

Was the twist done with modifiers such as the bending one (don't remember the name) or the deform ? Because I see how to bend the corridor itself but I don't get how the pillars follow the movement (maybe it's all one object)
@AidyBurrows3D5 жыл бұрын
yeah you got it! That's just a simple deform, I was using an empty for all the objects at first but still it didn't quite sit correctly so at the very end for the effect i'm pretty sure i just joined them all together to make it twist more easily without it all coming away at the seams. :D
