Growing up i often wondered why my hair wouldn't grow the way my friend with straight hair would. Little did we know, all we had to do was, stop relaxing our hair and let it grow out naturally. We have beautiful hair. Now my hair is long and i love it. But not as long as yours. So now i am going to do exactly what you're doing cause girl, you're obviously doing the right thing. Now that's a beautiful head of hair.

I have to use my fingers and can't comb or brush unless I want breakage. I'm trying to make videos to represent for the delicate haired folks like me. It's not my fault it's naturally weak. I just had to wake up and become aware and change how I treat it to see some health.

This was like watching my own hair routine except I do braids 😂😂. After my first big chop I realized that my hair does not like being out. Doing twist outs and braid outs consistently just dries my hair and makes it tangled af. Also I wear hijab so having a fro everyday was just not realistic. 3 years ago I big chopped my hair for the second time and have been doing these mini braids ever since. Because of this my hair grows consistently 6-7 inches a year. It’s currently passing armpit length and I couldn’t be happier with my overall health and growth ❤️❤️
