I can relate! I am the same way with journals. I believe the enemy keeps us being discontent to distract us from simply reading the Bible and praying.

Yeah, you can get devotional kits if you don't know what to put in the margins of your Bible too. Illustrated Faith is a great site to visit for things like that. There are even digital downloads you can get. If you want to see how someone else uses her devotional kits check out Scrappywife on KZbin. She has some great process videos.

It gets really confusing and overwhelming when you are trying to find the right Bible. Which ever one or two that really meets your needs are the ones you should go with.

I struggle in the same way. I have many Bibles but really want to only have one to use on a daily basis. But I feel guilty giving away Bibles I have been gifted (although I have given away tons of Bibles). I've seen many You tubers say that they select a Bible for each new year and that they use that Bible as their daily driver. They keep the others on the shelf and refer to them only if needed, but concentrate on their daily driver for every day reading, study and journaling. I thought that was a great idea and I am in the middle of doing that for myself now too. That way, you don't have to get rid of any of your beloved Bibles and you can look forward to using one of them next year. I have even thought of making a list of the new Bibles that come out that I want, but not buying one...until the next year when I select a new Bible for that year. That way I am not spending money I don't need to spend. I don't know if this will work for you, but so far I am finding it much better for me. I don't feel the anxiety I once felt. A couple of You tubers have also said that they use their "word" for the year in that yearly Bible and make most of the art work around their "word" and The Word for that day's reading. I don't really do artwork in my Bible (I'm not much of an artist) but I do take a lot of mini notes and add stickers. (: Blessings...and thanks for your openness.

I’m new to your channel. I got back into the word last year, and then I started bible journaling. I found my rhythm with a devotional and study Bible. But then my family and husband started buying me all kinds of Bibles. I have way too many now. And then the new year hit and the companies released all their new designs....ugh....I feel ya!

I like the Inspire line....but the pictures distract me sometimes and they are sometimes a “little busy” to color. I like to let the spirit “talk to me” with what I want to draw or write. I love the “Journal the Word”...with just the lines. I have the blue lattice one you have. That has been working for me. The other day, I ordered the Thrive Bible (NLT) devotional...it is beautiful as well, and it is numbered so I can be prompted to write and read each day. Love your channel!

While u n church n see someone sharing a bible, give them a bible. Some ppl would live to have a bible n can't afford one..I often give what I call a Renew, Refresh, n Revive bag. It consist of a Bible, Daily Devotion, Sticky notes, pen n marker, journal n a note pad. I love it, bc I feel like I'm nkessing someone else.

I have all my Bible on a shelf. I was starring one day and pointed out all the ones I don’t like that I bought because I thought I would and the versions I don’t like; I plan to get rid of. Maybe start with the ones you know you don’t care too much and then add the versions you don’t care too much for and go from there when gifting them to others as a way to get rid of them. I have the Jesus Bible, Chronological Bible, and some others I am wanting to gift to someone. I’ve written in them but not much.

You don’t like the Jesus bible? That’s one I wanted . I made a video before but only one person respond but never got back to me. I am also so precise. I really don’t care to much for the Aqua blue cover that seems to dominate journaling bibles. I gave a KJV journaling bible to my sister for that reason but now I don’t have a KJV journaling bible. I strongly want an nkjv because my husband preaches and studies from it but I haven’t found a cute one

@@CozyFaith I don’t care for the Jesus Bible. I recently bought the Life Principles Bible by Charles Stanley and I really like, it was about $50/60 though. I have the My Promise Bible in the KJV version but I never reach for it, I mainly keep it because it’s the on KJV I have. In recent research I found that it is t the most accurate version of the Bible so I don’t feel bad now about not reaching for it.

Bless someone else with some of those Bibles, I know it will be difficult, because you must decide which ones to get rid of, be prayerful, and the Lord will lead you. When you see new Bibles just look, don't buy it, because you know you don't need it. Wisdom is also key. I can tell you like arts and crafts, creative things, I have an adult coloring book, it has a lot of designs to color and scripture. Blessings to you, you can do it☺💞🙏🏾

Maybe this will help you. Take a step back. God is not getting the glory from your anxiety. Consider what you want to accomplish with your journaling? What is the purpose? What is most important to you when journaling? How does journaling benefit you? How does it bring you closer to the Father? It seems all these options and choices are overwhelming you and preventing you experiencing your true purpose of journaling. Please take this in the spirit of love I am offering these thoughts.

When you get good and tired of the situation your going to give away the Bible’s you don’t need.I want a NASB journaling bible and KJV journaling bible only if its in large print.Because I don’t have those translations.

I know if I ever got a good nasb or kjv journaling bible I would probably give away 3 that I have. It’s so hard to find pretty Bibles in those translations
